i sit on 4 or 2 in GG and just make fun of people trying to kill me. i can't hurt anyone any more so i slot all DR/defense powers. absolution, circle of power, templars wrath, aura of protection, and aura of truth. and i only cast dive protector as my daily now.
i've actually had 8 on 1 and stood there while my other team mates capped other nodes.
i've had people call me names as i laughed at their pathetic attempts to hurt me.
CWs will repel me off the node, and i'll walk back. they will freeze me and i'll walk back. its funny.
then they quit. i even made another OP quit because all i did was dance with him on the node and tell him i was going to stand there and make sure he didn't get any points.
so yep. cryptic has made my OP a Node Troll. if i can't compete in the fight, i'll just hold a node. isn't that the job of a tank?
nope. everyone argued we are tanks. so yes, we are tanks. no damage. all defense. no real CC. so tank it is

In wast majority this is due to Arm Pen resistance implementation as addictive. He now 'in short' has +80% DR from it. Remote it, or fix it, then we shall see better picture

Im ok with am equipped tank tanking up to 3 equipped people.. however they should see them going down after 10 minutes.
The change to armor pen is overkill. There was no counter to piercing damage? Now there is no counter to any sort of defense and not defense too.
What I'd like to see the OP become is a fighter/healer that can deal more DPS with at-wills and a couple encounters (within reason of course) but also has the same disadvantage as a GF with his shield/blocking. The current 360 degree protection--IMO--is too much. OP's should be as susceptible to Combat Advantage as a GF is.
The ability to just walk around and Turtle 5+ toons is a balance breaker. OP's should have a weak spot and have to work to kill/survive just as much as other armor classes.
Yes an healing dc killing something is an abomination. If they need any buffs and i doubt it you should find them in other areas

OPs have done this since Mo6, so the changes never changed the node trolling. It just changed it so that you couldn't 1shot one of the 8 people trying to kill you.

Indeed no one is complaining know.. it would be different if a gf would be able to do so
And i'm obviously cool with that. its obvious the majority of people think a character should have one roll
OP tank
DC heal
GWF dps
but then there are the others
TR, DPS, tank, CC
CW, DPS, tank, CC
GF, Tank, CC-some, DPS-some
and i'm not forgetting SW or HR, i'm just not exactly sure what they do in PvP besides add to my kill count
Well no a common pvp specced tr or cw have few to no control we can discuss about tankiness but new dc a paladin both about control and tankiness set new standarts
some players still seems to be brain dead. Even if you meet BIS geared paladin that doesnt want to die you dont dance with him as whole team but simply cap the node and leave 1 guy. Now he's the one wasting time, because he cant kill 1vs1 anymore nor cap, since Paladin knockback doesnt work on single target.
If you meet players who waste their time chasing Paladin around the node for 5min they're ******s and deserve to lose.
