Striker companion

Hey all,

I never used a non augment companion much. But now speccing myself as a full protector I'm doing close to no damage.
Is there a striker companion which can deal a reasonable amount of damage so I can run with it doing dailies?

I heard some good things about renegade evoker, anyone has a clue is it actually good?

    Yes, cambion magus deals up to 50k on blue quality if you provide him with enough armor penetration stat. Not sure about the rest companions however, maybe those new ones hit as bad.
