What he said. Also, if the requirements will be the same as PC, then you will have to have TWO characters that meet entry requirements for IWD.
I think to do the quest you need 2 characters with 10k GS with 3 boons from Mod 1 or 2, right? Do you think they'll allow us access with 3 boons from Mod 4 or no?

and to further this, it's my understanding that Icewind Dale is only accessible after you have reached a gear score of 10k (not usually a problem) AND you have unlocked the third boon from either Sharandar campaign or Dread Ring campaign. Which means that we'll have to wait for THOSE modules to be added to the game first. Which means.... it'll be a while before we will be able to get these artifacts . I wish I understood the reasoning behind making players have two separate characters that meet the requirements in order to unlock this quest chain though... But that's another matter for another time.
EDIT: Note to self, read whole thread before posting cause the person above already mentioned this... herp derp

That would depend on how it gets released. Mod 6 removed all the requirements to get into Icewind dale. You just need to be level 60 and you are good to go. So currently PC users can get the vault of the 9 quest with just 2 fresh 60s and zero boons or gear. The down side is, its now a level 70 quest so they will end up getting murdered without additional help.
So, if the xbox gets mod 6 before Icewind, there will be no requirements. If they get Icewind before mod 6, then you will need to get all the boons.
I suspect, that because the campaign areas are all level 70 content now for the PC. There is a good chance that the xbox might see mod 5 and 6 before seeing Sharandar, the Dread Ring, and Icewind.
