Lostmauth set BIS?

Is the Lostmauth set BIS if your a SS mage? I'd imagine it is even though the str/dex bonus is useless but the dps increase is too much to ignore.

Currently it is BIS for all dps classes. My set does about 15~20% of my overall damage. Percent-wise is dependent on how much damage you do with other spells, but overall, this is a very good set as almost all dps classes stack crit or have high crit. If you run as a renegade or with a renegade, chaos magic nexus boosts your crit by 30% when it is active so you will proc this a lot more often.

The loss in ability point isn't such as a big deal because the set bonus increases your damage by a lot more and the other stats the items provide is very good for you: power, crit, arp.

But don't spend too much AD to refine higher level...
The set bonus is working on green level.

If you plan to refine, I would suggest neck piece and artifact, neck piece being the higher priority. You do not gain much from belt unless you get it to legendary so it should be the very last thing you refine(if at all).

There's no way a hard nerf isn't coming so buyer beware

At some point, yes. It's a risky investment for a short term gain.

Just expect other sets to have an increase instead of this set getting a nerf.
