The VTK is needed but it needs some adjustments. As a GF that only tanks, I have only gotten the boot a few times. Usually if I spawn into a group with a higher GS tank. To me that's fair. IMHO, the only way to keep the VTK down, is with a group of friends. Players will find a way to exploit the system, regardless. Its the nature of the beast and its not perfect. I have played MMO's since Ulitma Online, and have not come across an MMO that has the perfect system. Some are better then others, but you still stand a chance at getting kicked.
If I should die on some far, far away battlefield
    Know I answered the call
For a grand principle of freedom to yield.
My fervent prayer is that death
May not have been in vain
Fighting for peace and right for the world to attain

I agree whole-heartily. The VTK problem will still exist but in my opinion there ARE some ways to fine tune it to prevent some of things that ARE currently happening. The other elephant in the room is that the console community has a different attitude than PC's community. Like I've said before: "Someone do a psychological study on console vs. PC gamers and attitudes towards others/respect". Console users, stereo-typically, have shorter tempers and are quick to "rage quit" or "kick" other players whereas I've found in PC games its actually quite the opposite. But that is again my opinion and I'm not trying to whine or complain just stating some hypotheses I've developed over 15 years of gaming with MMORPGs.

I think its funny when players rage quit. And like you I believe the PC community has a better attitude. We understand games like this are also about the community not just punching things in the face.

Bottom of page 2 for references on reasons WHY changing VTK is a worse reason than leaving it...

Anyways, seriously. You guys have ZERO friends that play? No friendly guild? I see guild spam everywhere. If you haven't figured out to make a party before trying to go in yet, maybe YOU are the issue, no? Stop trying to randy it up and get a group. If you make a fail group and end up getting taken over, YOU FAILED, that is YOUR FAULT!

Seriously though, PAGE 2 at the bottom. READ. I will guarantee most of you are looking at the first post, ignoring feedback, and just complaining without any real in-depth thought.
