So I've heard rumors of people losing tons of stuff through posting on the gateway, and I have confirmed one huge bug
For anecdotal sake, let's assume someone has a stack of 99 greater marks of potency
If this person logs in through a cell phone to the gateway, they are unable to split the stack with quantity value when selling to the auction house
This personallly occured to me back in my early days with 20 or so pres wards for the price of 1 and customer support kindly said we can't help you, assuming user error
I have 100% confirmed this isn't the case, and have replicated this bug 10 times
To make the bug even more obnoxious, its also impossible to remove any post from the auction house using a cell phone, so even if the user notices an error ....GG
Well user error is something that does happen, and rewarding any of the players affects by this bug their items back would be a monumentous task that they'll never go about complete
However I'd think they'd be quick to fix such an obvious issue in their database...just in case a bigger issue for them should arise
"Hypothetically speaking, if I exploited the game and bilked the developers out of thousands of dollars of potential Zen sales, shouldn't I be properly rewarded for my efforts?"
If anything this might be a cell phone problem. I just tried to split stack for selling from my PC (as I was sure it worked) and yeah, it worked.
The issue might be, you don't split them like they do in game - there's a little window in before you post the sale that has "quantity" that's editable - it's a far better system.

You have some gall.

So it might indeed be an user error.
