its been 2 weeks now since u launched module 6 and im having huge fps drop when i enter combat, unplayable, cant do anything, is there any1 having same problem and are devs awared of this?
Lag and drops. Same here. I have noticed something that may help but it kills submersion. 16 is the number for me. I look at the instances and if ever more than 16 players get in my instance, I get lag. It starts small but by 18 - 20 in my instance I am going to get server not responding. So I can manage a little longer play time if I swap instances a lot. I'll choose the one with the lowest and join that one. This works for a while but once most of the instances get 18-20 it is unplayable for me.
No idea if that is a good idea. Seems like many people hopping instances a lot would be a bad thing?? Hell it may be for nothing but Im just trying to play a bit. Good luck.
Yeah i ran /netgraph to see what was up and was seeing 4k - 19k ping times, but like everything else that is broken right now i am not optimistic about seeing a change.
This topic is closest to my problem with M6, so I post it here. Since M6 started I have problems with FPS. After I start the game everything is ok, but when I play more than 30 mins I'm starting to lose FPS. At some point game becomes barely playable, then suddenly everything is coming back to normal. It reapats over and over as I play game longer.
For me it looks like problems with memory management, but when i check system it says I have over 1 GB of free RAM, while never seen Neverwinter to use more then 1GB of RAM.
My specs:
Intel I3 M370 2.4 GHz
Radeon M5650
4 GB of RAM
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
