I'm just wondering if Cryptic is going to buff the enchantment, cause its dying... It absorbs too little damage. Think about perfect barkshield blocks only 3k damage each 8 seconds while lesser negation has constantly 10% additional damage resistance. How can this even be possible?
I think cryptic absolutely has to buff barkshield.
3k damage is roughly like one at-will attack in pvp XD. Think about it, perfect bark saves you from one at-will attack each 8 seconds... Hilarious XD.
And I don't even want to mention how hard a mob can hit you in pve... Even if they decrease to cooldown to its half, 3k damage each 4 second, its still freaky useless.
Don't ever expect changes. They ignored enchantment balance all the way since beta and had the perfect chance to balance them, but decided to make others BiS instead. The best we can most likely hope for is for fixes to enchantments that have issues, but that's pushing it.
Negation was good in beta then the new barkshield took over negation's place after mod 2 released, the negation became totally useless with its cooldown... Then yea, it took them 4 mods to rework on negation, who knows how long it would them to rework on barkshield ? XD

Barkshield is currently absolutely useless, it doesn't help against Mobs or Players.
In PvP every player is doing over ~20k+Dmg normal Hits,
A single DoT do more Dmg than Barkshield can absorb,
That 3k-Absorbs it's simply not enough just for 1-hit and down to 2k absorb,
- The armor absorbs doesn't match the level 70 content against enemy mobs or Players -
" Whenever someone attempts to deal damage to you one charge of Bolstered Bark is consumed"
This need to be Changed!! a single At-will destroy barkshields -> Bolstered Bark.
Bark is maybe worst armor enchant atm but there is also so many bad enchants I wish they could all be buffed to make them all viable so not everyone is running around with exactly the same ones...
It would be a great starting enchantment for someone who just got gear with an enchantment slot, kind of a beginner enchantment. Problem is how you obtain it. No one who can run consecutives successful Master of the Hunt Skirmishes needs that enchantment as is.

Dont you realize that Negtion and Bark have somehow switched thier places, bark is just useless as negation was before the patch.. XD

I started making one, I have a normal so far.. bull <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> to make a armor this completely useless though..
