Dragon Hearalds should not be started from White anymore

We are not going to kill 10 heralds per run anymore, I don't know why people still start at white and waste more time going to Black to Green.

The new train should depart from Red->White->Black and if time still permit, Green.

So long as they fixed the supposed bug regarding the red dragon, shouldn't it start at green and go around...? The longest run is between black and green...

It probably won't matter if we go from red->white->black or black->white-> red or green->blue->red since 4 kills are not likely anyway.

I don't like Blue since the lightning means more time wasted on reviving players and going from red->white->black means when Hearld is over they can hop to Tiamat easier if they want.

    I agree with that logic!

On another note, what a great and helpful signature you have! Nice!

It's like if you try to stub out a smoking habbit on 50 years old granda which has been smoking for 30 years. People will still start from white no matter what :D

Well, here's another way to look at it. If we ARE going to start getting more kills in, every second of DPS on the dragons is critical. We need to stop wasting a full minute or more running from Black to Green. Once the bug with Red was fixed months and months ago, I tried to lobby for a more efficient route with the following map, but got shot down because people couldn't change their ways after a week of game play.

My hopes aren't high now to get people to run a more efficient route, but here it is:

Wouldn't reversing that route be more efficient because there are multiple jump down opportunities from green to blue to red. For example going from red to blue is not as fast as going from blue to red.

You have the same "hop down" going from white to red, so it's essentially the same. Only difference is I don't have to spend time working up a new drawing :)

So you enter the zone, run half map to black, make dragons, then change instance, run another half map to black, end on red and run half map again to exit? Holy!

Im Happy to see that ppl start doing HE's again,
yesterday we kill 3x drags on normal run or 4 with good dps.

    WoD is waking up! yay
Tip for Newbys: If u want to kill most Dragons as possible,
you have to stay at least 5-10 mins early there.
when you call for group on 00.45h or past lol ur too late dude xd.

Yes. Get to the zone 2 minutes before the heralds start, and go to Black. The amount of time you spend running while the heralds are NOT up doesn't factor into the equation. All we care about is maximum time on target when the dragon is alive.

Once you kill green, switch instances. If you get teleported to the entrance, go down and start at red->blue->green. If you get teleported to the fire, go back to black and start again.

But it could be some time before we're worried about changing instances for the "bonus" dragons :)

    1. The problem is, if you get a bugged Black dragon you waste time, thats why is better to start at Green.

    2. Forget about changing instances, you wont get them all in time for going another instance anymore.
