Keyboard stuck on CAPS.

The keyboard is stuck in Caps on.
when entering the keypad, the left joystick button on the keyboard is not green (activated ) but all letters are capitals and numbers produce symbols.
Pressing the left joystick to turn on caps changes nothing, letters are still capitals and numbers are still symbols.
I first noticed this on the 5th of April in the Idris dungeon, when trying to text group.
I have used the virtual keyboard without fault, in game, often before this problem occurred.
My sons character, on a different gamer tag, has the same problem.
Group, Zone and LFG all have caps only.
Naming a new companion is caps on only.
In the auction house its the same, I am unable to list items, as I can't use numbers to enter a price.
