I can give up CW shield

I've seen many complaints about the CW shield the last few weeks and as a CW I can say that would be willing to give up the shield, IF we get some "real" control. And I'm not talking about entangle that last 0.5 seconds like it does right now. Most of your control last a very short time or gets resisted.

And yes I'm talking mostly about PvP. Not even using shield in PvE.

    agreed but it need to be able to control more mobs and would like it to slow bosses that are imune to cc

    and i am a pve cw

    gasp* a logical solution. but wait then what would we have to complain about besides trs XD

    Look, somebody rebelled against CWs last month and we are still getting these thread-replies from CWs. The class is so easily offended...

    Yes, who needs a shield when you can basically CC the target while it dies within 1-2 seconds. Your CC is fine, go play SW or GWF to feel it. Once your shift/unstoppable is over, that icy cocoon is basically your home.

    I have 23k CW and 25k GWF senti later destro, both of GWF has longer cc than CW especialy Destro, now GWF stuns will be 1 second longer in new module. Dont know about SW but "bats" and prone is longer than any CW stun (maybe opresiv is exception)

    PS. i agree, shield could be nerfed but it can't be nerfed without giving CW something in place of it, but with stupid piercing damage i dont want to be 1shotted by TRs, so i dont think this is good idea. Unstopables, ITCs, perma shield, deflection and another CC breaker just make control useless. First game must be balanced, and unfortunately- never was, now it isn't and i dont think could ever be.

    HHHH , you want more control ? CW already penetrate 60% of control resistance .

    more control is a bad idea in pvp.
    If Cryptic wants to nerf something, then give one less dodge to every class with dodges.
    Or rework dodge so that it no longer grants 100% immunity.
    Since the 1980's, when I first played D&D, I remember that wizards had a magic shield spell.
    Wizards must have access to a magic shield spell.
    A control wizard is a wizard first and controller second.

    this whole thread was start by cws willing to lose shield if we got more control that started the other classes saying that they wanted more nerfed from what i read som people wnat us to have less cc less shaield less dps all at once
    what i would like them to do is decide if they want us to have more cc more dps or more surviabilty
    personaly i am a pve cw and i am willing to lose shield for more cc or dps

    it depends for pve.

    despite the fact the cw have a lot more damage than it should, my problems is the new dynamic of cc.

    opressive force spreads enemies to every corner and steal time / ice terrain keeps enemies at different extremes.

    I dont have nothing against increasing the control of cw provided in pve, if return to the logistics of "prepare a shard>aggro with a coi>use singularity / mof daily> shoot shard. the problem in this time was ... the bugs in aoe damage make a blue gear cw can one shot every enemy.

    People won't give up because it's too obvious that your Elminster alter-ego class has crossed a line and has been dancing and mocking on it since module 1. Time your singularities to take every CW hater out of this forum maybe? I doubt even with no targets cap you would be able to do that though, too many targets.

    I don't use harrow storm against CWs, I'd rather see you chocke on your broken dps.

    Do you guys ever get tired of the CW bashing?
    We all know they're overperforming but please - turn it down a notch. You hijack every CW-related thread to moan about how awful the class and the players playing this class are. It's tiring at best.

    It has repeatedly been brought up that CWs will need to be readjusted and I'm pretty **** sure the Devs heard that feedback and are/will be looking into that eventually. So - grab a beer or twenty and relax.

    Again, it's the same five or six people hijacking every **** CW thread to complain and whine. Would you like me to do that to every thread on your class? Honestly people, grow up, I'm still a minor yet I'm more mature than all of you combined. It's pathetic.

    just stop, its a futile battle, u will never get cw nerfed by ur hate posts
