how bad pvp matchmaking is....

joined a match today
other team gets roflstomped and 3 capped, 200-0 (team had 1 20k, others were 12/13ks)
leader kicks team
2 players on my team are now "well, this sucks, boring, let's log off" (they were 23k CWs, rest of my team is 1 19k, 2 17ks)
so they leave the game to go play on their alts
only 3 ppl out of 10 left in the domination "match"
what are the chances this will ever be fixed/improved?
rather, i don't understand the seemingly lack of urgency to improve this madness
