Recycling Animations and Encounter Icons?

I hope they're just placeholders.. if not... then really?

Hunter Ranger has:

- DC's chains

- Lashing Blade's Icon (Gushing Wound)


Guardian Fighter has :

- Punishing Charge as a new encounter animation wise


Control Wizard has :

- Disintegrate being Magic's Missile's Icon AND Animation

- Imprisonment being Entangling Force (Icon and Animation) AND Cleric's chains.


Great Weapon Fighter has:

- Terrifying Impact

- Blitz (Icon and Animation)


etc etc.

Where's the excitement of new encounters if they're just recycled?

    I'm pretty sure I remeber them saying in the paladin dev stream that they was place holders :)

    Disintigrate is a ray, very similar to ray of frost,.. only its green and vaporizes stuff.

    I really hope it looks like its supposed to.

    Sure is taking them a while to unplace the cordon of arrows animation, aka dc chains. Not to mention plant growth got turned into the forest ghost animation. My expectations have significantly dropped /facepalm.

    Yeah this is pretty much what I'm talking about.

    Make some new animations.. new sounds.. new effects.

    I swear this is RecycleWinter. Recycling maps, recycling animations, recycling paragons (ahem GF/GWF).

    It is going to be really telling if mod six drops and the animations in preview remain.

    Cordon of arrows finally has a new animation :D

    Plant growth is still the recycled forest ghost animation though :(

    You mean like the Death Star laser?

    pretty much, or a romulan disrupter. however whne something is destroyed by it, it turns to dust rather than exploding.
