I've seen this idea implemented in other games (GW2) and it appears to work quite well, the player base liked it and it may help to adjust some challenges currently being faced within NW.
The idea: Create an interface screen that is ACCOUNT wide which holds all of your currencies to include crafting materials.
The benefits:
1. ACCT wide AD will remove the need to use the currency exchange to transfer AD between characters. This is a pain and unnecessary IMO. Yes it forces you to consider buying ZEN, albeit briefly, but I’d be curious as to how many players are actually impulse buyers in that respect.
2. Crafting materials: Players invest their time to accumulate these and should have the flexibility / convenience of using them where needed.
3. Seals / Favors / Other currencies: Same as #2 plus:
a. Seal items (T2 normally) you would buy with one character, salvage, ZEN exchange the AD to your character you want. How inconvenient, might as well buy from the larger shared pool with the character you want…you as the player earned them, regardless.
b. Linus: Deserves being separated since Tiamat is such a hot topic atm. Shared pool for the reasons mentioned above plus this, I suspect, would alleviate some of the issues faced currently.
Reasoning: When Tiamat was first introduced, I would imagine players used their main characters. I recall commonly seeing players with 22k + GS. Now, since their mains have what they need, they've moved onto their alts who are typically lesser geared, typically…
Now, if I’ve just killed Tiamat over 80 times to get the 80 Linus needed for top tier boons, not to mention attempts, When faced with doing the same to my alt, well it makes me ill. I’m more willing to take my alt in even earlier ( read lower gear score) so I can get them completed "knock it out" before the average gear score of the 25 dwindles even more. Ultimately, contributing to the lower instance GS myself.
Benefit of a shared Wallet: Grinding is a chore however you look at it. If I were to need 80+ Linus I would like to accomplish this as quickly as possible, therefore I’d be inclined to use my most effective character for this particular event/instance. A shared wallet allows for players to do just that, use their mains to help progress an alt. More mains (read higher gear score) = higher GS average in the instance = more likely to succeed.
I believe this will have a positive impact all around and require no additional modifications to Tiamat.
I’m excited about the new class coming, even leveling him to 60 will likely prove enjoyable. But the notion of post 60 progressing/gearing/refining/ booning him is absurd to me. So, I’ll likely make one, get him to 60, and park em at an alter and do leadership, until it’s not such a chore to progress him.
Either way you look at it, it’s our time as players. Time I’d imagine we’d like to spend having fun on the aspects we enjoy most. In short, I’m requesting we be afforded the flexibility to use currencies amongst all characters.
...while I voted for it, I do not believe we'll get it, as many of the tokens are meant and intended to be char-specific.
...while I don't believe we'll get an acc--wide currency wallet, I think we could get some compromise thing - an account bank vault crafting material/asset tab. The annoying running to the mailbox to swap tools and professionals is a pain in the body part used for sitting on...
Shared stuff would be nice. Though if AD was shared, then the refine cap should still be per character and the maximum should be more than 100m ad per account.

Wouldn't hold my breath though.
