    Without Trapper buffs is a 2 second effect, 1/2 in PVP so 1 second. Kind of negligable. Better to go with DPS. Trapper feats make it 5 seconds or so in PVP....

    Is 2.5 on players or less for tenacity, deflectable.
    But it does its job as trapper

    Edit: the feat is additional 2.5 sec so its like 3.5

    It's about 5-6 seconds if Strong Roots aren't deflected (possibly closer to 4.5), if you have your buffs up.

    Also Constricting Arrow shouldn't be returned to module 3 status, with the current buffs to Trapper along with other things, it would be waaaaay too OP because you'd pretty much be able to lock your opponent down, which is the current issue with Scoundrel TRs, and honestly, as HR it'd be worse because Constricting Arrow was an undeflectable stun type CC, and was stackable.

    I think once roots are fixed, HRs could do with some additional "hard" CC to help with survivability, such as a 1s daze every 10-15 seconds when applying strong roots, but considering our damage we should be fine. Roots aren't particularly helpful in that regard because they're not really true CC, as you can still cast during it.

    Also Hindering Shot is for DPS not CC if you play Archery. The only hard CCs a HR has is Disruptive Shot and Boar Rush. Roots won't save you from getting murdered, because pretty much every class has a way of attacking you through them or getting out of them (GWF/GF). You won't be using Boar Rush as Archery because that requires you getting into melee range, which is counter productive to the build. You can use something like Hindering Shot + Constricting Arrow + Binding Arrow if you want to snipe someone from range; assuming you crit, that'll be enough to oneshot a lot of people, even some BiS players, but your survivability and ability to stay on a node is pretty much shot without an immunity frame such as Fox Shift.

    By the way Ralexinor, I switched over to Pathfinder today and am finding Slasher's Mark to be a fantastic daily (at least for my playstyle). The second lunge ability, even if it isn't accessible very often, is so much better than Seismic it isn't even funny. Battlehoned works very nicely too, I think that it has kept me in some fights I would've normally died in. Thanks for the Pathfinder advice earlier.

    Battlehoned is okay but you have much better options. You get enough regen from gear and boons. You should be using Serpent + Lone Wolf as trapper.
