Where to report forum bugs?

Sometimes my posts disappeared for no reason. I mean absolutely no reason as in no reason given either in the forum or in my private messages inbox whatsoever. As I double checked many times they obviously did not violate any forum rules.

Can somebody tell me how do I report forum bugs? Should I file a ticket?

    Had some posts removed myself, but I think they were moderated and they chose to start hiding posts rather than move to the graveyard. Kind of a bummer since occasionally if there was an interesting topic I'd read some posts over there when actions were a bit too defensive. As for where to report if it was an issue, maybe contact support *shrug*.

    Yeah, I've had several simply "vanish" and leave me perplexed as to what happened. When they get moved to the graveyard/can at least you know it's not a forum bug and/or personal insanity.

    I looked into your "missing" posts and they are all hidden from public view as they violated rules.

    Often if your posts go missing it is because you responded to another rule violation and that user received a message while the responders normally only get removed for consistency purposes and thus do not get notifications. In your case you had some violations and the moderator who removed them chose to either be lenient as they were serious enough to not go to the lower depths but not bad enough to issue a warning.

    The forum does not automatically send notifications when posts are moderated and it can get quite taxing to type notices up so we almost never send messages for posts sent to the lower depths and while we often send notices for removed posts it can vary depending on the severity and the reason.

    Additionally if I am at work, for instance, I may remove posts but not have the time to type a personal message at that time so the PM's can be delayed either until another moderator is available or until I get home from work.


    If you have a Forum Bug to report you can use the Bug Reports forums to do so but missing posts are all but guaranteed to be moderated posts and not randomly missing. If you ever have a question about missing posts you should contact a moderator instead.
