Well did anyone experienced and wealthy enough tested which build is better for PvE nowadays?

1) STR/Power - maxed stats 33str/18con/24dex - low crit, high base dmg, possibly higher Power than Dex/crit build, higher survive, single target or aoe... IV-Sentinel ?

2) DEX/Crit - maxed stats 27str/17con/31dex - high crit + better use of crit severity, lower base dmg, higher focus on balanced stats - possibly lower Power than Str/power build, lower survive, single target prefered... SM-Destroyer ?

to test both builds it requires Race reroll token bcos of different base roll..
also requires different gear, including artifacts and artifact gear..

let me know your experiences, thank you

    power + dex + crit(3000~4000)

gwf bases suck, so just stack power and dex while keeping crit softcaped, we get a lot of crit severity, but anyway gwf dmg is way too low atm

ye, thats what i am doing right now.. DEX/power/crit build with balanced stats around AoW set..
i am just curious if different build is more effective..
gwf in pve pretty sux + we suffer by all these rangeds and bad controllers/away pushers..

Truth is i am starting to look at the perma immunity build that was in beta... now with all this ap gain, that one might be doable again. Now is even more easy cause is passive. If anyone could try that would be awesome :)

To be more precise i am looking at savage advance CD reduction with high ap regen.

Lower base dmg but more crits is more overall dmg than higher base dmg and lower number of crits. Now between Sentinel and Destroyer, Sentinel seems to be better for AoE dmg due to higher burst but for long fights specially 1v1 or single target specifically, Destroyer is a lot better. Considering that end-game atm is about the mass slaughter of those poor dragons, I prefer to play Destroyer.

    33str/18con/24dex
    27str/17con/31dex

How do you ever get there? There is the artifact belt that gives +4 but that's not enough to go that high in stats.

y, you are right, with all these single targets around is crit destroyer better option, but sadly the dmg is pretty low compared to other classes..
with panderus post about gwf boost, i was excited in the moment, but lately realized it is gilding only..
maybe next year we will get real boost for pve..

    pve gwf - halforc:
    STR option:
    18str (base roll) + 2str (race bonus) + 6str (lvls) + 1str (campfire) + 4str (belt) + 2str (two different potions) = 33str
    13con (base roll) + 2con (lvls) + 1con (campfire) + 2con (potions) = 18con
    13dex (base roll) + 2dex (race bonus) + 6dex (lvls) + 1dex (campfire) + 2dex (potions) = 24dex
    DEX option:
    16str (base roll) + 2str (race bonus) + 6str (lvls) + 1str (campfire) + 2str (two different potions) = 27str
    12con (base roll) + 2con (lvls) + 1con (campfire) + 2con (potions) = 17con
    16dex (base roll) + 2dex (race bonus) + 6dex (lvls) + 1dex (campfire) + 4dex (belt) + 2dex (potions) = 31dex

    hope it helps
