    Very imba. And counter-intuitive. In the otherMMORPGs, and in DnD as well, when asked between Melee fighter and Cleric, which one is the DPS, the answer is a no-brainer.

    Destro will forever be useless in PvP. You will get results in pug game, but Sentinel will be Titan.
    Better premade teams will not even bother to invite you.

    However, on that note, GWF is a trash class that can be one-shot by TR (45k+ HP damage on 50% DR) and stealth on top of that. Additionally, HR will be as strong as they used to be and you can do nothing to a DC. I have literally stopped pvping, go in with my AOW set once in a blue moon. My page ranked dropped from 8 to 1000+, I have stopped running premade and I don't care.

    Just move on to other games such as LOL (League of Legends), Cabal 2 is coming out, and GW2 is more transparent and stronger development team in understanding balances than NW, if you are looking for PvP.

    The same thing is happening to GWFs right now. They're being considered as 'okay' because there's feats and passives making them viable, but if you try to do something without them you're going to perish. I hope they don't fix the class by making their passives and feats insanely good like they did with CWs making the class brainless, I hope they increase their base damage, and I wish they nerfed the CW passives and increased their base damage too.

    hardly this will occur. the encounter / power of cw is a big offensive-active element of the class.

    i.e., cw is composed for 3 integrated components. char (A) moving while an encounter x (b) acts on the opponent "autonomously", hurting and slowing (pve). the element "C" is the range (work that is the only real player job).

    the aggravating in the case of gwf offensively is that it is 100% active (gwf is not a class shooting a active-independent encounter; gwf "shot yourserf full time"), without intermediaries, but defensively he is predominantly passive, ie if destroy the defensive capability of the class, by, by gwf.

    if the dev thought about it, he must have believed that the sprint would be a good remedy, which would have been ok if the class was not attached to stacks / 3 secs. that are precisely the passive (class features).

    but have other problems too. radius/aoe penalty (pve), base damage, obsolete dailys, etc.


    note:in fact, I described the situation of the class with 2/3 modules of advance because of that. gwf never was a strong class. is a weak class with 2 or 3 exaggerated feets. it is obvious that when it came a buff of the same "scale" to a integrated class, this would create a gulf.

    the dev tried to act alone or listening a lot of people who have a historical virulence against the class. the result is that. I do not doubt that he read the post of some of us and think that we are wanting more free buffs.

    I stopped PVP'ing early in mod-4 (both on my GWF & my CW's - GWF became broken & CW's became proc effect/glyph machines). The Dev's looking at this is a start, but for a non-Intimidation build, as long as a majority of our damage is coming from our at-wills and our AOE Encounters & AOE utilities suck as bad as they do, it's really not going to fix it. The proposed changes will improve our DPS some, but adding 6-8% to my DPS isn't going make that much difference in the big picture. The interesting effect of the changes will be in PVP, assuming you're willing to play a Destroyer in PVP (as far as I can tell, it's pointless), the buffs to encounter damage will be usefull, assuming you live long enough and are lucky enough to actually land one (slow animation time and lack of a way to pin your target long enough for the slow skills to land).

    Well i would not disagree with alot of what has been said about the changes. At the same time at least there trying to sort it out.
    Bit better determination helps with my time on target. The longer i can be toe to toe with whatever im trying to take out the more dmg im dealing.

    what is that determination buff? a little more or now one ibs = full refill?

    and this additional damage? I am absolutely convinced that in the meantime between the two modules my damage down (crescendo 20k for example). do the same, to me that was a certain time without playing (returned for 10 minutes and stopped again) dont represent anything.

    gwf only will be "OK" when a destroyer have conditions to beat all classes in damage. thug life

    GWF destroyer will be a beast.
    but its hard for somepeople to understand how to make it a beast.

    DPS in Neverwinter is going up not down. If a class gets a tonedown in damage that means it was really out of hand. The current Int Sentinel can produce alot of burst with 1 rotation but he does have long cooldowns and his dps is not so great when compared to the rest.

    That'a another matter. I've stated multiple times how DPS are too much now.

    However, my suggestion is to link damage to stuff like restoring strike on sentinel. Makes more sense. Other classe need other changes but i'm here to discuss gwf.
    Also, my point is simple:

    A tank tree of a supposed melee DPS class can't deal more burst than the DPS paths.

    Should also not deal that DPS through a couple of aoe utility powers.

    I asked also to improve survivabilty to match current unmitigated damage and monster DPS.

    What you describe is part of the problem. Game needs a tone down to DPS, unitigated damage must go and DPS must be linked to powers that need aiming and timing to land.

    For gwf i posted which changes imho would make sense.
    Right now, half of what the class has to offer is useless, and what is decent or good is complete nonsense.
    I mean, we (class) have to go tank to deal DPS, and we deal single target burst through 2 aoe utility encounters. also, even going tank we can't really tank vs equally geared enemies cause to tank a bit you need immunities and gwf got no immunities or real dodges. Result is every class is more survivable in pvp compared to gwf, except sw and cw. Wow. Makes zero sense.

    Cant argue with that, it is an absurd but in a ftp game imo we can only do the best we can with what they give us. Personally I dont expect Devs to somehow start listening to us so I just go with the flow till I find a better game.
