You only have dailies that get old really quick (like, after 1 week of doing that particular campaign), dungeons do not exist because the only good drop there is easier obtained from heralds/Tiamat, and even if you want to run them for fun, it's not what it was few modules ago - you basically can finish them blindfolded.
Foundry id gathering dust - as neglected by devs as it is, it's a miracle people are still doing it.
So it is not like you have to refine stuff to legendary, it's just there is nothing else left to do.
Personally, I think the economy is FINALLY starting to do well. The ZAX has dropped below 500 for the first time in nearly 6 months. The value of AD has been slowly increasing. And while prices on items are falling, its prompting people to spend it more, draining the glut of AD out of the system. And allowing the market a chance to actually balance itself.
Someone said on another thread, "They srew 2 years work in 1 mod Just by adding T2 as reward."
That is my sentiment. I really think they should remove t2 drops from Tiamat and call it a misstep that needs re-evaluating. I read on GF forum someone said, "used to do DPS GF but going to this tanky build because it finally has a purpose (paraphrase)." And I thought yeah that is right! I have done a tanky Gf since mod 2, and I came a conclusion when the t2 changes came in: there is now far less purpose to being a tanky GF then there has ever been... There is nothing to do with a tanky GF anymore that has point. In mod 3 people said it was weak but there was a point. In mod 4 it was not weak and there was a point. In mod 5? Nothing group oriented besides tiamat has a point, and tiamat doesn't reward tanky builds, so imo the tanky GF is deader than its ever been with the demise of t2. I will keep it just because I believe in one game one character, but otherwise, can't imagine how this new economy fits in with group play.
The drops in eSoT and eLoL are too rare to motivate true "farming" and if they were more common they would hold little value because the drop table isn't elaborate. You can burn down the equivalent in expected economic value just by farting around WoD. Which was a point I think was missed by some on this thread: it is not that actions don't have economic value, t2 included, it is that there are far easier solo activities that generate the equivalent economic value in the same amount of time. The social game of this MMO is increasingly irrelevant, and a long with it the group game. There is no roll for a tank in that world other than to show off about how easy you can tank Lostmauth.
This effect has really taken a toll on my groups involvement in this game. We log on. We do a couple dailies, and nothing really stands out as what to do when dailies are done. We log off. How long do you think that will persist?

Yes the new module with the new gear made all the old weapons pretty cheap and worthless to farm for to get AD.
But there are still items you can farm to get more AD (at least 2) but if you can't see them you must be blind.
I am missing something here. First of all I don't care a <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> about 3rd expansion BIS gear never going to use that period. I don't like the attitude of returning to area to get more resourses for a decaying pure BIS item though I got all 5 boons from 3rd expansion with 2 of my characters so far.
Second of all you talk like 4th-5th expansion items are easy to get? Hell no I am tired of why I always get a helmet... I even got an helmet that I sold on Auction House... and so far 2 characters of mine have together got 5 helmet drops and 1 artifact belt drop from 4th expansion. I sold the artifact belt because I did not like the stat it gave.
I don't have a single character who has 2 armor pieces from 4th-5th expansion so enlighten me how to get them easily because I don't want to buy them and it is not easy to get them from Skirmish fight. On the other hand I did not play at all during whole summer and started playing again late September, but still have not 2 armor pieces from 4th-5th expansion with any of my characters.
Profound PvP items are really easy to get. Glory earning is never a problem, but how to get easy 2 armor

RP is the ONE thing that everyone needs. Whether you're an "elite" or casual or somewhere in-between, we all need RP. That's why RP has become the new "must have". If most people have T1/T2 and/or legendary artifacts, we will have to grind thru to get RP (after the BoE RP has been depleted of course).
If this were your business, you'd want to make as much money as possible wouldn't you? No one wants to work for free so I totally understand this new path that has been taken. Do I like it? No but I understand it. At least we're getting Double RP again
There's not really anything I can sell for a decent profit as a new player right now because my gearscore as a new player isn't high enough to queue for the content that drops the more valuable things and the people whose gearscore IS high enough for those things are getting all the stuff I AM able to farm as part of their higher-tier content and flooding the market with it. Why do they need those things at that level? Just for RP? Just have it drop refining stones then. I guess it's cool for the new people who don't want to play the game to get the gear to be able to buy a full set of t2 as soon as they hit 60 if they saved up all their AD while leveling, but then it's not cool for them anymore when they want to be able to try to make some AD by running that content to try to get some drops to sell. Just my two cents as a new player that's been playing a lot since mid-October. I'm kind of glad I played the dungeons a lot to get my full set of miracle healer armor before this mod because I got to have fun, playing the game. Now I feel like if I were to start all over again right now, I would've just spent 40k (or less) on the full set as soon as I hit 60.
