I like the event, but If you dont give all players an equal change of trading it is just a BS event that leave people mad.

I agree. It's obvious there was very little effort put into this. One person cannot feasibly give everyone a fair shot at taking advantage of this event. I see no reason as to why two, three, or even four more people couldn't log in and help out with this. But I guess "fairness" is a relative term.
E/ AND, Akro announced 5+ minutes prior to the official start time that he'd be "staying in 52 the whole time."
So basically no chance for anyone else to get in...

Whisper me ingame, I am in zone 52 and will assist anyone that whispers to get in. Ill stay there for the duration of the event and help balance this out in a small way.
I'll repeat what I said in a different thread: I like the intent and idea. I appreciate what Akromatik is doing trying to interact with the community in a creative way. He is doing his best to make it work, but he's been put in an unfortunate spot.
With that said, I understand the frustration with players and it has nothing to do with Akromatik. It is the fact that this trading event is much more profitable than 3 months of grinding PVE. Players who miss out just because the instance is full lose out of 3 months of loot of grinding PVE. This singular event has become more important than the HAMSTER PVE has become today. This is why players NEED to trade with Akro and this event has changed from just being an opportunity to interact with the community moderator to the biggest opportunity to make money in this game right now. This event has changed from "whoopey I get to meet Akro in-game" to a platform that requires fairness and equal opportunity.
If PVE and Tiamat isn't the unprofitable garbage it is today, this event wouldn't have ired so many players so badly as people would be content in farming PVE.

To be fair i have been in a party with a friend that had the luck to get into #52 intime. In 1 hour now i tried to move to that instance with 0 sucess and even if I would get in now, the line for trading would be to long to make the trade anyway. This is not how i like to spend my saturday night
The trade need to be way more extended then this, cus frankly most ppl are NOT getting the trade and it leaves ppl frustrated.

What they should do is place the person doing the trades in their own instance, lock it from being switched to, and give them the ability to invite others to their team/instance, then kick them once the trade is complete.
Another idea would be to simply add an NPC who can accept trades, and have a dev or GM able to approve or deny the trades via a separate out-of-game interface.

I completely agree. I can appreciate the effort Akro is putting into this, but this really isn't an efficient way to run this. I'd rather not have anything than have something where I try changing instance for 3 or 4 hours.
Yesterday, I finally got in after over 3 hours, stood in line, only for it to end with a dozen or so people in front of me. Today I got in at 6:20 EST after trying since 5 only for it to end... with about a dozen people or so in front of me.
At the very least, make this stuff so you can do 1 item for the weekend so no one tries coming back each day. Otherwise, it really can't be that hard to just add an NPC to switch these items out.

OR, they could just make an NPC that would match items based on ID and there would be no need for a GM.
I would also like to point out that these hours can be pretty ridiculous for players from Europe. It's 3 days and ALL of it is the same exact ours in the middle of the night.

What will they give me for the R4 and 2 dragon scales I just got? Probably a second kick in the ***.
