Why don't we have a gift a friend day like for Thanks Giving or Christmas once a year you can give something special like the Black Ice Gloves to someone you want, a lot of people would be very happy with that.

    Lovely idea!

    Incredible potential for abuse though.

i agree 100%, sadly it will be abused with this community playing. Would be great though however you'll most likely have to stick to current boe items for gifts.

Perhaps if they made an event with cosmetic only stuff that would be good yeah?

Because not all of us are from the US, celebrate thanksgiving, or celebrate Christmas. Why not have Hannukah from the 16th of December til the 24th of December instead? Or Kwanzaa from the 26th of December til the 1st of January? Or why not Yule on the Winter Solstice (December 21st for those of you wondering when it is)?

Or we could use the one we get anyway around Christmas-ish.
It slips my mind what they call their Mid-Winter Festival (somthing like "Festival Of Lights" or something), but it would definitely serve.

'Wen considered the nature of time and understood that the universe is, instant by instant, recreated anew. Therefore, he understood, there is in truth no past, only a memory of the past. Blink your eyes, and the world you see next did not exist when you closed them. Therefore, he said, the only appropriate state of the mind is surprise. The only appropriate state of the heart is joy. The sky you see now, you have never seen before. The perfect moment is now. Be glad of it.' Terry Pratchet The Thief Of Time
