If not, to be honest, it really does not matter for a SW even at low levels. I have used a healer...meh, a tank bigger meh...and a ranged striker....WOOHOO.
My reasoning...is the first one while it heals are okay SW gear comes with LS as you level. You have DT. Tank...oh yeah I am the tank no matter what due to my insane aggro.
Now range striker...why you ask...it stays at range so mostly avoids red areas and continues to damage, and does not get aggro since it can't compete with me.
Helear, always healer. Putting points in LS as we level is a big waste of time. Mobs have little HP, we should hit harder and kill faster to move on to the next quest. In the meanwhile the healer companion is slowly filling up our HP so we do not run out of potions.
No other companion seems even remotely useful as they gleefully do crits of 200-300 while we're already doing crits of 2-3k.
By level 50 or 60 you will have enough LS and damage to stop needing the healer and then pick whatever, cat or ioun stone.

But really any will work.
