So for an StormWarden Archery build want do you all recommend in terms of gear?

It all depends on who you do in the game. For most things, I recommend Royal Guard armor get. The cooldown reduction proc is quite nice for renewing you encounters faster. The downside (if any) of the RG armor is the amount of Armor Penetration you get. It will be put very near the PvE "cap". With any amount of Strength it will put you over it. If you PvP a lot, Profound Combatant may be good for you. I see it recommended by many players.
its more like our sets sucks so bad that as long as u balance the stats there isnt much of a difference XD
Ive personally been parsing with all sets and for my playstyle (vorpal archer) the best is 4pc BI with red glyphs, like hands down.
its a grind to get and to mantain at t3, but its worthwhile, just dont use it for daily farming.
royal guard is not that optimal without a dot enchantment, and the stats suck.
grandwarden has pretty good stats but the set bonus is just like 2% added dps.
2 pc gw + 2pc dl has very good stats, but actually crit is a bit over the top, no set bonus
2 pc draconic (BI) / 2 pc dL is very good coz of the overload sockets and good stats but no set bonus.
red glyphs can be like 7-8% extra dps
4pc bi has more stats (more power) than the 2/2 combinations and the combination of the red glyphs + the power from the set bonus bonus is like 12% extra dps.

Without investing to upgrade BI to T3 is it still worth using over the others? I hope to complete the DL set in the next week to test it out and see how it performs against RG but wondering more and more about BI.

yeah its still good but why would u not empower it (lots of stats)?. Unless u really play a butload of dungeons etc where ur wearing it mantaining the bi empwerement is not thaaat much work.
Id say something like doing 1 kessels retreat per every hour-hour and a half or so of use will do it. Also Do bigbrin once a week for the extra BI too.
I think someone who uses it 2hrs a day should have the BI needed with like 4-5 kessel retreat runs a week + biggrin. Just keep that one Bi smith for refining when u need it.
I just checkedhow much BI i used in about an hour and a half of DD, and it was some less than 450. So basically u can get enough BI for more than 3hrs of running the gear with one kessel retreat skirmish run.
I go for full corrupted BI on rank 3 for everything, farming some ice like twice a week keeps it powered and doesnt take much time, thanks to how glyphs have become dirt cheap theres no need to have ice in your overlad slots

2/2 GW and DL as a archer stormwarden HR. I would maybe use RG if the encounters I used didnt have such long uptimes.
I stack power. Rarely am I lagging behind in the dps/damage department.
I honestly believe as long as you know how to balance stats, almost any gear can work in this game. Its that easy.
