NOTE: we all know that there are still plenty of things wrong with the game, so if you've got a gripe with a current problem, this thread IS NOT meant to be one of them. I only wanted to list tiny little improvements that I'd personally love to see in-game that could make me a happier camper. If you wanna cry about the larger things that need to be addressed in the game, go post somewhere else, that's not the intent of this thread.
DEITIES
Doesn't make sense that a Drow doesn't have the option to choose to follow Eilistraee, and to only have the major gods to worship just feels kinda weird to me. I mean, shouldn't the Dragonborn have the ability to choose Bahamut as their deity? Also, why not have the option to choose an Evil deity to choose to worship? This would determine the types of bonus stat blessings someone would get when invoking.
ALIGNMENT
This could tie in with the above "would be nice to have" option. If you're the same alignment with the deity you worship, you'd possibly get a better blessing once or twice, but those "greater blessings" would be few and far between each other. Also, this could lead to alignment only side quests, or be blocked from being able to perform specific quests all together.
NAMING YOUR MAIN and OFF-HAND
Possible censorship violations aside, I think it'd be pretty rad to name your weapon and off-hand. Gray Mouser has "Scalpel" and "Cat's Claw", I'd love to name my toon's weapons. Naming a weapon wouldn't actually do anything initially, but what if you kept the same cosmetic across several cosmetic upgrades? Maybe your weapon began to gain a form of intelligence? Maybe it even chooses an alignment because of the bearer? I dunno, just something that'd be kinda cool, I think.
MIX AND MATCHING BETWEEN EQUIPMENT and FASHION ITEMS
Sometimes I wanna wear my gear's Helmet with my Fashion top and bottom. Sometimes I feel like a nut. Sometimes I don't.
That's all that I can think of so far. Just small inconsequentials that I think would add a bit more flavor to an already immensely flavorful game.
Just messing , this could be quite fun xD
The idea to mix and match fashion/armor could be really cool too, I love the ability to be individual looking .
There's this good book called, Don't Sweat the Small Stuff (and it's all Small Stuff). . .
There has been discussion about alignment here before and the bottom line was that it would be difficult to "fully" implement. Sure, it could be added as a simple descriptive field, but having it impact the game would involve much more complex programming. And there are so MANY more things that still need to be fixed that would have high priority over adding a new feature like alignment. Don't get me wrong, I am an original AD&D player from the 1970s, so I love the idea of alignment. it just doesn't seem a plausible idea currently for this game.
I kind of like the idea of mixing and matching equipment, but what I would prefer instead is to allow full-on transmuting for a price. In a more juvenile game I used to play with my kids when they were younger, you could pay to change appearance of any gear item to that of another gear item. A screen would pop-up where you could select the type of item. Then you could pick the item whose STATS you want to keep and the item whose APPEARANCE you want to keep, merging the two together. I always thought that was cool, but it might require too much programming work in NW.

Now, get off my lawn, you kids!" pointsman said, "I don't rue the game. In fact I don't feel any regret for the game at all." looomis said, "I don't like people changing to alts and then bragging about their mains like schizophrenic role players."
