"Extremely vulnerable?" Definitely not. And I know it's not a gear/skill issue, because of the HRs I'm used to playing with. They are "extremely vulnerable" if they're vs 2 equally geared CWs. With only 1 CW/none in the picture, they have some of the best survivability in the game outside of the TR.
Am talking solely about 1vs2 where an HR is on a node and a clearing couple such as CW/GWF or CW/HR CW/CW CW/SW etc. comes to clear the HR.
Any HR will not survive 10 secs in this scenario, and neither they should. Coordinated CC after Icy Rays and any HR in this game regardless of build and gear is done for.
HR did way better at surviving vs 2 people in M3.
By the way, I am not trying to say HR survivability is bad It's amazing actually. But the HRs have also a great weakness against Icy Rays, and whatever happens afterwards, which in a good premade team will be like 40K+ burst damage easily.

Yeah, any sort of dual CC-combo will shut down an HR pretty fast. I think, relative to the other classes, they have the best self-healing, allowing them to be one of the tankier classes in general.
Congratz.
And yes the gs inflation is a known plague for MMORPGs, just watch WoW where chars now hit for tens of millions of HP.
Now in this game, gs is for certain classes the only thing they have left. Take the one or two Gwfs who are still there from Beta. They have no DPS (mod3), no mitigation (mod4), most of the cool things from Beta were removed (mod1). The only thing that keep them almost alive in game situations when put together with any 10k gs other class, is their 25k gs. Having twice the gs, they even nowadays keep a decent chance to outDPS a 10k DC in PainGiver chart.

NO more dailies, no more boons.
Give us a chance to breath and catch up, thats 100% of the issue.
Mod 5, DO not give us any more dailies. No more boons, give us 6 months of time to get our alts through.
You want to release new content fine, we already have enough filler material to last a year, we do not need more junk.
The easy fix is more diminishing returns, especially on the power stat. That way you can have 21k if you want, but it won't make you deal twice as much damage as someone with 15k.
Look, I'll stay away from the personal attacks. Although you certainly deserve one for the above statement. There is a culture within the player-base that seems to be against player progression. If you have progressed you are either a wallet warrior or you played through the content too fast. ABSURD.
The problem is that Cryptic is releasing content that directly results in stat rewards. They need to take a break. Create content that does not directly relate to the power creep. What this game needs is shot in the arm with some new epic dungeons. Dungeons that give new and diverse armor and weapon options so that we blur the definition of BiS.
As much fun as I have had playing this game (I'm not leaving anytime soon) the game has been far too linear. There absolutely needs to be a sea change and if it doesn't happen by Mod 6 it WILL affect the long term success of the game. You can deny this all you want. The fact is, this game will be 2 years old when Mod 6 is released. It's make or break time because the competition is too steep and the next D&D game could already be conceptualized.
This is excellent gaming wisdom. None of the other comments in this thread matter. Well done! Heed these words, devs!!

Yeah, those two buggers really jack up the GS more than anything else!
I did not state those examples in the context of jacking up your GS.
I replied to ben's comments about using diminishing returns to balance the field. HP and power at the moment are not affected by diminishing returns like other stats are

I wish my DC could self-heal as much as the HR.
