I am wondering which weapon enchantment is best for tr pvp... i have tried flaming, bilethorn and vorpal, vorpal is the one i am using right now... but are there better ones? I'm considering trying lightning and terror, any help would be appreciated.

Vorpal. Everyone advertised Bilethorn last mod counting the DF bug as a crutch, now that that's fixed, Vorpal is again in its rightful place. GPF comes to a close second. Lightning is PvEish, but otherwise good too.

Some people are claiming gpf is good or going with lightning. Vorpal is going to be your best bet though. Even with a max CON, low crit build, the numbers are still going to come out superior for vorpal over time. Not to mention with vorpal you have a lot more spike damage capability rather than damage over time, with critical bleeds and activation in general. It works especially well in comparison to all other enchants regardless if you spec executioner though. Not just because of the 5% extra crit, but its especially fun if you can poke a crit with CoS right before your WoB, having the potential to get a bonus severity buff if used from stealth from one feat (25% added) and 22.5% added (for 75% base crit severity classes) from the overrun crit feat. Combine this capability with DC sigil for an extra daily every couple minutes and the naturally high AP gain of rogues from silvery enchants and TR has more offensive capability than you would think compared to a lot of rogues going pure survivability builds without DC sigil, possibly using saboteur, and possibly using alternate enchants like GPF, ect.

Also, if you want to compete with others and go for kills, you are going to want to go executioner anyway. Lose the sabo build crutches. The extra damage capability far outweighs the extra little survivability you can get from a sabo build unless you just want to be purely a point holder.

bilethorn was probably fixed coz of sw
sw has insane dot combined with bilethorn it would be to much ....like out of stealth in 1 sec and imposible to get back in stealth
and tr got cought right in the mid ,its so bad that it doesnt even deplete stealth like it use to and dmg is very very low for a perfect enchant,
so this enchant is broken and useles for any class now.

I'm not BiS but I'm still smoking people as a CoS/GC using Bilethorn. That said, I'm not denying the continued greatness of Vorpal. I'm likely going to try out Lightning next but I'm waiting for TR changes. So if someone can copy a P. Lightning for me for preview server I'd be grateful. :)

I might have a spare. If not, I'm sure at I have at least one of each sparkly enchant on Preview. I collect stuff ;)

's got nothing to do with SWs. There had been talk about the double tick bug for ages.

So its not broken at all. You were simply exploiting something that was broken in the first place and thinking it was your skill.
Stop making excuses. Be a man.
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

The "double tick" bug was more related to Rampaging Madness, and was fixed around at the same time. But it's not fair to say using Bilethorn then, was "exploiting" It wasn't the community's fault the item was bugged. I chose not to use Bilethorn, but that was me. I wasn't going to lock an entire class from using one enchantment just because it feels wrong. So no, semantically, it doesn't fall into an exploit.

On the other hand, there is no arguing that using Bilethorn in any way was a "skilled" thing to do.

It's neither skillful nor is it an exploit.

then every single thing that was nerfed was a bug and 100% of player base is exploiter including u

    good logic

    StrawberryCheesecake TR

Vorpal is the best weapon enchantment for any rogue due to their class-high critical damage rate of 75% (base). Vorpal all the way for a TR!

Did I say vorpal was the best for a TR? It is, hands-down.

By the way, vorpal is the only way to go for a TR weapon enchant.

And the answer is "VORPAL!" :)

Can the blue glow from the GPF on your weapon be seen when you are in stealth?

uh, don't all the classes have a base crit severity of 75%?
In my opinion if a TR finds himself with a lot of power and not too much critical rate and armor pen, Plaguefire could make sense. Especially for PvE, I mean, we don't do real damage anyway, may as well make this faster for the party

    Hmm. I thought some classes had a 50% crit damage rate . . .

I am trying to trade my p.vorpal for p.lightning. Idk but duelist flurry's fast hitting works well with lightning and its chains. I had a regular lightning and i loved it. The p.vorpal might increase my single target dps but for a pack of mobs, p.lightning would be better imo.
