Chest locked despite having key

Just did 2 epic karrundex runs, even logged off between them. When I get to the end the chest is glowing but when I click on it says it can only be opened during dungeon delve. This is with the purchased epic dungeon key.
Only points to note, I had purchased it prior to a DD, ran some dungeons during the DD, then ran Karrundex after and the key wouldn't work.
