Warlock Booster Pack question?

I am fairly new to Neverwinter and have not really bought much of anything before so I have a couple of questions.

Do the weapons and armor that come with the Warlock Booster Pack Scale with level or do you end up just discarding them after a couple hours of play? If it is a discard after a few hours situation do you all think it is worth $35 for the companion and Great bag of holding?

Also what do people think of the companion? Do you all think it will be worth it in the long run? I think it starts off blue which means it can level to a max of 25 without spending Zen or AD to upgrade right or can it level to 30 right out the gate?

If it's similar tot he HR pack, then the weapons and gear are meant to help you start out - they're typically better than what randomly drops until around level 20-22. IIRC, the companion is an Erinyes, which has an AoE heal, which could be handy. The companion is account wide - so if you figure that a blue companion costs about 1200 Zen, it'd only take getting it on 3 characters to be worth the cost, and that's ignoring the 24-slot bag, (another $10 worth), plus other goodies.

Yeah unfortunately that is what I figured. Would have been nice to have blue weapons that I only ended up replacing at very high levels.

I also only plan on really playing my Warlock so I am not sure if the value is there. Was going to by a bag anyway but that makes the companion a 2500 zen purchase. Might be just better off using that 2500 and put it toward a purple mount.

Also, I noticed the companion only gives you temporary Hit Points instead of a real heal. If those temp hit points don't stick around for a long time, it might be kind of lame.

My HR stuff usually lasts me until around 30-something. That's about when I start seeing better green-level drops (or the occasional blue). Same for all my others, like Hero pack, Guardian pack and so on. But yeah: think between 22 and 32 depending on race/class/playstyle.

Just an update - picked up the warlock pack, and while the stuff is great, it appears the Erinyes' AoE power only grants temporary HP instead of healing you... oh well.

You know, you really can't trust those dark evil types when they promise things. -cough- :)
