Can we drop the Mount delay finally?

Seriously only select classes benefit with these changes, the delay is unnecessary! I wait 8 seconds to mount then ride to a node, then fight. They run away, I wait 8 seconds again.... mount I am killed.... I wait to spawn, then I wait at spawn 8 seconds again as if i'm in combat still.....

Come on its a crazy change, please remove the delay its purpose is not needed. It just makes hard to catch classes harder to catch then before.

    Yes, the classes that can run away unfettered already benefit as now they know we have to wait 8 seconds to even start the pursuit! HR / TR / GWF .

    They could at least reduce the delay. Also fixing the bug where it takes longer than 8 seconds to mount up would be nice, it's annoying when that happens. It's also annoying if you mount up, kill someone running away whos low on heath and then you're punished for 8 seconds meaning in some circumstances it may be best to just let them go or gives them extra delaying power if the dismount you.

    Perhaps save a little AD and buy epic mounts? I found our average palemenos quite useless too. Gwf can not outrun epics.

    Anyway back on topic, GWF sprint is already not great against other classes said ability, so I don't find any good reason to hate on it. But I'd still like to hop on the mount faster so I can save my sprint to stalk strangers :rolleyes:

    Of coarse the ONLY class to benefit from this is the GWF. The devs have been favoring this class for a while now.

    It was most likely done specifically to help the GWF even more.
    Why not they already have best healing,speed,defence,CC,CC resist,Damage.Zero weaknesses.
    3 nerfs so far have ended in buffs for the GWF.
    They even have a fix for the roar bug already to go but wont implement it for months.
    Some dev plays the GWF or his kid does.The favoritism towards this class is a total joke.
    Its also the easiest class to play.

    I think that was their point. They want a longer travel time in-between nodes, interceptions become more effective, death becomes a bigger liability.
