1. PVP players are the ones who spend ungodly numbers on this game. As many of the people accusing players of "Crying" have said in past threads about over priced coal wards "You only need coal wards to upgrade enchants if you PVP as the game content never requires you to get that super high GS."
2. Still loling about Mage telling people what they can and can't say on forums while calling them crybabies.
3. With two maps...small little maps, how can any body actually think that a few more would be a bad idea?
Sorry.. but he's got you there Charononus. TRs being despised, GFs not needed with the almighty unstoppable, out-dpsing and selfhealing GWF. Granted, HRs are also shunned because people play the class in a stupid way or not to it's fullest potential, but a lot of the PvP "adjustments" really hurt the desirability of certain classes in PvE. And for a PvE game, that's pretty bad.
Well I have to be honest I don't see that too often. However I tend to run in legit or start my own groups as first 4 and go.
And that complaint needs to stop. Before you PvP lot started crying about balance, every class had a job in PvE. Now it's a 2 class business because the PvP nerfed/weak classes cannot compete with the rest. Oddly enough the CW has never been on your nerf list. But Cryptic took care of that for you with all the free CC resist.
Note: I fully understand that the gameplay can provide awesome PvP. But when people want PvP balance over PvE balance, I tend to get annoyed really quick. This is not a PvP game. If PvE has to suffer to bring balance to PvP, somebody's effing up and it bothers me -and a lot with me- to no end.
PvE has only experienced problems from PvP nerfs because the dev's didn't seperate the powers with "only effects players 50%" type of code. They are introducing that now on things like Assailing Force. This means that hopefully that kind of thing is going to be in the past.
Neverwinter is PVE. There was no PVP contenent at start.
They introcuded some Pvp elements only becasue a %5 of ppl crying so loud everywhere that there was no pvp contenent.
The tenacity was taken from wow resilience.
The problem is that D&D gameplay has no pvp elements. If you ever play D&D , you should know.
This game should not follow what ppl or the community want, but the roleplaying system of D&D and his gameplay.
Like many other ppl said , if you want some true pvp, go play cod, Battlefield, or some other PVP games. For now is still, lets call it, a beta pvp.
Well I wasn't here for the first couple closed beta's, but I clearly remember pvp being here in open beta. So it was here at the start. As for pvp not being here in pnp, there was also nothing against a pc fighting a pc. I should also point out that this is an mmo based on DnD not pnp it's self. For mmo's to be financially successful there are many things they need lately. PvP is one of them, and considering that many other portions aren't there in this game, inclusion of pvp is one of the few things they did right. I'm not even a hardcore pvp'er, I'm very casual with it.
sharandar: no pvp content, no farmable dungeons if not gaunt.
dread ring: do you really find it an enjoyable module? no pvp content.
IWD: some pvp content. No farmable dungeons, still best mod since launch.
and dont come here to tell me that IWD PVP needs us to be more creative to enjoy it...too many instances for people to find people to fight against and NO way to change instance. Seems normal to you?
losing positions in ranking by winning seems normal to you? its like doing an exam, get the max results and then instead of having one exam less you just have one exam more because your professor was to easy to defeat.
Going to close this down, guys. Please keep your feedback constructive, and your responses to others free of insults. If you disagree with the content of a post, don't attack the poster for it...
