The poor guy just got CC'd in mid air while using his lunging strike xD Sometimes I manage to get to silly CWs sitting on the pillars/walls like that xD

That lunging strike can mess a poor GF right up.. I used it on a mob in spellplague once.. to get off the platform that was about to fade... just as the mob got repelled into the sludge. I did a 90 degree turn in mid air and followed him in.. messy death.

lol same thing happened to me kind of.

I used Bloothpath in spellplague and the CW repelled them in the pit.... Bloodpath being automatic, it followed them, which led me to my death XD

Needless so say I will never use Bloodpath in PVE ever.

Lol that lunging strike looked like it actually missed. Would be cool when you dodge a lunging strike, the GF keeps going.

That's what it looked like to me, too.. haha. I was picturing the GF flattened and splayed face first against that back wall.. with little birdies twittering around trying to find a way to circle his head.. hahaha Definitely looked like a Wile E. Coyote moment. XD

i have had that happend against the aboleth in spell plague while on my TR. was using DF and he did the big swing attack. somehow i ended up following his head off the platform and promptly fell into the sludge after the df animation finished.

The funniest thing I've seen was a GF in a domination match. The match was way lopsided and one of the losing side kept hoping down to 1v1 the GF. The GF decided to mess around and found the point where he could use Bull Charge I think it's called to knock the other guy back up and into the spawn.

A GF did the exact same thing to me.

Being kicked down because of bloodbath of DF isn't as funny as GF-plane doing barrel rolls in the air. I'd wipe laughing if I saw anything like that xD

That power needs to be fixed. Its speed is overly fast. Anyone has eyes knows that isn't lunging at all.

And many GF players are abusing it. They first jump up and activate that power in mid air, and then they can fly like the video shows. They fly from a lower spot to a higher spot or from a higher spot to a lower spot, and that normally can only be achieved by walking/running the regular route. They can even fly onto pillars in Hotenow domination. I have even seen a GF on a pillar flied to another pillar.

If you mean threatening rush+jump combo then It has way shorter range than the power represented on the video.

He's just mad 'cause he can't stand safely on a pillar and shoot people who can't reach him.. Said so himself the first time he mentioned it.
BTW.. TR Deft strike is just as strong, and some other powers besides. Just because it's named Lunge doesn't mean it is. Lashing blade... gee, does my TR actually have a knife 6 meters long that just appears and skewers whoever? It's figurative.
