Can Enchanted Keys Be Sold?

So I got a 40% off coupon for one enchanted key. And its an easy way to make 30k AD (mwahahaha >:D ), but when I hover my cursor over the key in the Zen Market, on the bottom right corner it says:

Cannot sell
Cannot discard

So can I sell them on the AH or not? If not, how did those keys get in the AH?

    Likely, its a one-off version of the Key. Since they are giving it to you at discount, they want to ensure that you won't do.... exactly what you had planned to do with it.

    I'd say this is a tooltip issue...

    It's the same cannot sell your entire riches tab has and reffer to the NPC vendors, and should have nothing to do with the AH, check the AH keys, all of them are cannot sell, cannot discard.
    AH is controlled by the 'bound' attribute and keys are not bound.

    I think it means you cannot sell it at vendors or discard it , probably to prevent players dumping them by mistake.

    It means you cannot sell it to an NPC vendor and you cannot discard it (accidentally or otherwise). However you CAN sell it on the Auction House. This very description trapped me up for six months and I was an Alpha tester! LOL

    Got the same coupon, bought it for Zen, sold it for AD, made 30K.

    consumables, they are sold for around 90K each

    None, keys were changed ages ago to be account bound. They can no longer be sold on the auction house.

    And this, folks, is why we don't necro old threads. Outdated information. Enchanted keys are bound to account on pickup--which means that once bought, they can only be transferred to other characters on the same account.
