Dear Cryptic, More customization please? :)

I was wondering if we're ever gonna get a REAL custom system. Hands, feets, chest, legs, back, and helmet. We have these 3 piece costumes right now, and to be honest, they're kind of lame. You guys have the ultimate customization engine in CO, and yet your costume customization in this game is just sad. I'd gratefully dump zen for real costume choices. Cloaks, hoods, leather strapped armor, mixing armor with robes... etc. Each class pretty much just has their one set of armor. And pretty much all your costumes look very similar now.

I'm just saying it could be a major bonus to sales and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate it :D

I would LOVE more customization, but sadly, I don't think that's going to happen. There are so many other things to fix in this game first, and module 4 will bring in even more bugs and glitches. Plus, they might have to redo a lot of code if they were to expand on the costumes/town clothes. More armor options would be nice, but that stuff takes a lot of time too.

This will aways be the case since they will always be working on a new mod. This is NO excuse to never work on more customization, especially since doing so will directly generate them more revenue.

In any event, game companies have different devs working on different things, the mod Devs most likely wouldn't be the ones working on new core features, so working on this wouldn't distract devs assigned to other projects.

I think the fear is that they (Neverwinter) would be labeled "pay-to-win" - to which the answer would be to sell stateless "transmutes" in terms of gear. Which I'd buy. They have a few (not enough) "off-duty" outfits that it shouldn't be any big thing to create and sell costumes designed for transmuting in-game gear.

This way it would be cosmetic only, it would add variety and no one could proclaim any kind of "pay to win" scenario.

So how about it, Cryptic? Create transmute-only gear kits we can buy in the Zen Market.
