Idea how to co-operate GS into PvP match making

I think I understand why GS is not really useable for the sole decision for deciding who to team with whom.

As, I get my GS to 5k, then queue, get low GS opponents, and in the match I raise my GS to 16k and play billiard with said opponents.

What if the gear score you queued with is the maximum you may wear during the PvP match?

So you could still switch to another sword, or armor if that meets the current needs better.
But you would be limited by GS to stay below a certain value.

Not working? ways to troll?

GS is a terrible indicator. If you take the same tier equipment (i.e. any of the T2 epic dungeon sets), you'll see that classes have different amounts of stat bonus. I.e. a GF armor typically has over 50% more stats than a TR (I didn't do the math, but it's like 1700 vs 1100 stats on a T2 armor), a DC has almost the stats of a GF.

They are not balanced class-wise and obviously a 16k TR will always be better equipped (and probably way more efficient) than a 16k DC or GF.

Some feats were taken into the calculation as well (I don't know if it's the same today), so it wasn't unheard of having 18-19k GS fighters, while it's really hard to get 15k on a CW.

I don't want to have the GS as the only property for matchmaking, but putting a 6k against a 16k is useless. For all parties involved.

And they already fixed the bug with the Conqueror GF's getting their power counted twice in GS.
Just saying, with this cap you could consider gear score for matchmaking, which is always contered by the "queue low, put on high" argument.
Yes, GS is useless more or less, but it is an indicator what to expect.
