Sword Coast Adventures Companions

So I really like the SCA game element and I also really want the Lightfoot Thief (though I know the drop is rare). I've been trying to build the best SCA Companions (if there is such a thing) and I'd like other input on what they feels works well in the Epic SCA. So far I have Galeb Dur, Lillend, and a Dire Wolf all at Max 30. These seem to be a good combination and I have a about a 50% success rate of completion (though no thief yet). I'm trying other companions for the fourth slot, atm I'm working on a Fire Archon.

    Too soon to see how it works, but the new Owl Companion shows some real promise in SCA. But I'm still trying to crank-level that bugger up. I know Galem and Lillend are freakin' awesome in SCA. So is the Dire Wolf. The Panther is okay, but not really great. And I can't believe it, but that little Winter Event FAWN is awesome, too - enough to make me seriously consider upgrading that little snot.

    Oh, and the Sylph does really well, too. But the Dire Wolf, Sylph, and Panther are all part of add-on packs you have to buy to get them.

    I forgot about Rust Monster - that thing's really good, too.

    Based on those you've mentioned it's a really tough call. I don;t know how the Ioun works as a purple (I never upgraded mine) - so I'll just say this: the Lillend has like three or four magic dice, meaning you can choose whichever dye you need) - more than any other Companion I've seen (and I haven;t seen the Angel of Protection, yet).
