Constantly crashing since Icewind Dale update

Since I patched today's Curse of Icewind Dale update I have been unable to play the game at all. Game constantly crashes and exits anywhere from the character loading screen to a minute into the game.
I have tried changing and lowering all my graphics settings, as well as a clean install of the game and neither have helped.

Any ideas?

    Many players are having the same issue too buddy. We will have to wait till they fix that. =/

    There will be an update today. Maybe they have already detect it and it will be fixed \o/

    Nope, today's update did not fix my issue, I'm still crashing every few seconds.

    Yeah,the update didn't work out for the ones that are having that problem.

    I know you said you lowered the graphic settings but just incase you didn't know the graphic settings are spread out between 3 tabs now , if you didn't know that try to lower them on all 3 tabs.

    No, I didn't know about that having 3 tabs. I lowered them on two, but I will try the third later today when I have the chance.

    Went over all the graphics settings as you suggested, updated all my drivers, tried opening/closing it in safe mode, tried everything the NW FAQ suggests and another clean install. I'm out of ideas, so I sent in a support ticket. Here's hoping it gets resolved... I never would have bought all that stuff with zen if I'd known I wouldn't be able to play the game.
