Does anyone know when I should inquire as to the email, or other contact information with which I could touch base with them and see if they have any interest in a tactical RPG the likes of which have never been seen before. I've come up with a one of a kind game progression, and I sent it to whom I thought could provide me the contact info for the folks that are in their offices awaiting the next big thing. I originally designed this game as a board game in a Game Art & Design program in college, but by taking it digital it has become so much more that I could have ever hoped for. Since the game is unbound by any location, timeframe, etc. I will need folks that are interested in checking out the GDD once completed(abt. 2-3 months more) and more so, I am going to need to playtest the ever loving bageezus out of it to ensure the game is striking an entertaining experience for the player's. All Character's are wildly different even if they share the same class and similar type initial equipment. I think if I can find a group that actually played D&D old-school, I can playtest somewhat if there are any that feel like helping and have the patience to learn the mechanic to hammer down the rules of engagement. Anyone interested let me know and if you PM me your email I'll show you what I've got. As soon as you want to get involved and suggest problem's you may see with the relativity of a character's movement vs. the oppositions
.
I'll also throw in this piece of advice: Many large companies do not accept unsolicited suggestions or ideas. This is to protect them from incurring liability for ideas that they accept but do not actually implement, or develop seperately and then the submitter claims the idea was their own.
They usually have entire departments devoted entirely to saying "thanks, but no thanks".
As this is something of a dead-end thread, I'm going to close it off by way of referral to the above provided link.
