a question about a bound to charactercompanion.

I have a green slime, I was going to sell it but it's bound to character... it wasn't before I made sure it wasn't because I already had one for the character I wanted it for. anyone know why it's bound to character?

    You won't like the answer...

    But it is far more likely that it was already bound to character than it magically decided to bind.

    For instance if you bought the item from the shop it was Bound on Pickup.

    I could have sworn I had one that wasn't... I thought it was the one from the chest that was bound on pick up. ahh well no matter I didn't pay anything but time for it anyway.
