PvP Glory Question

I am sorry for necroing something from two months ago, but I need my question do be addressed...really.

I am new to the game, but I played a very nice pvp oriented (unfortunately also similarly geared oriented but less balanced) known as Warhammer Online. In that game I used to pvp a lot (fun) and gained my pvp sets in due time.

Now onto the topic: I tried the pvp here and apart from the obvious Twinks-rant, the amount of glory I get is just baffling. No more than 100, even if I win and get a good amount of kills, points, whatever.

See what I mean? We won the game, I was second in place and I get LESS THAN TWENTY POINTS?
I mean, I've seen pvp set pieces for a lvl 15 @ 200 glory...what am I dong wrong?

since i saw experience along with your glory, i'm going to assume that you're not level 60. that could have a lot to do with your glory gain. i, personally, haven't used PvP to level up a character, but i'm pretty sure that glory gain isn't something that lower level pvpers are working towards. it's a great incentive to take out a small chunk of the cost of your first pvp set pieces, but you won't be making a lot of glory at lower levels. but like i said, i'm not a hardcore pvper so someone else may have a better idea than i do.

At lower levels it is easier buying blue pvp gear from the auction house than trying to save glory for it. Tenacity is really the only thing the ppvp gear has that pve gear doesnt. At level 15 I really think it doesnt matter that much. If you are otherwise geared well you wont need it till later.
