What is this? I just played a 5v1 pvp against a dragon and he just burned us all in one encounter power... How is this balanced? They can stay at a cap and burn anyone that comes close. They can fly on the ledges and then come back down, without having to run the whole way. Needs a fix!

Mod Note: Yes, this is a Spoof Thread of the April Fool's joke of the Dragon being a playable race.

nah, only acid and lightning paragon paths are OP, fire one is balanced but I saw one with undead epic destiny and it was seriously killing everything with one hit (and that life steal skill=OP!!!) even IV sent couldn't kill it.
Hopefully there will be balance patch soon

Don't "learn to play" me!! I already tried the black arrow but only thing it did was hurt one scale on his skin. And now he's pissed and chasing us in PE burning everyone! Oh this update is a disaster, there's gonna be nothing left of neverwinter, in a few days everything will be ash!

And people were complaining about how OP CWs were in PvE? have you seen the "lf 4 more Dragons for CN fast runs?" they dont even ask for classes anymore, not even CWs can get into parties if they're not dragon race now!

And dont get me started on GG fiasco, now all the food you must BBQ for the giant is just eaten almost instantaneously and the giant is furious and doesnt grant any sides score, so you cannot enter DK...

The BBQ thing looks like a bug and should be addressed ASAP!

The worst is the dragons who are just there to farm Glory. All they do is sit on their big pile of gold in the spawn and afk....

Yes, and this is really sad. I just don't get it how so many people managed to cap their dragons so fast. Well, I understand that now leveling for them is a piece of cake but still...

I do hope they'll balance the beasts. Otherwise only this race will remain :(

I really need a good build. I put all my points in the breath weapon tree, figuring it would make me uber, but the little halfling people just dodge out of the way and start stabbing my legs. I try and use claw/claw/bite, but they dodge that too. My wife is starting to get really angry when i come home with bloody socks full of holes.

It's all about gear. Wear those uber tall adamantine boots of the drake and those halflings won't be able to touch you.

This is true. But the wing-flap and tail-swipe paths are also pretty viable. Though the "Flatulence" Daily in the Tail-Swipe path feel a bit OP, it DOES take out the Halflings, too if your timing is right. (And their death animation is PRICELESS!)

Back on topic though this is a new race with new abilities so it'll take some time to figure out the best combinations for builds, and tactics vs dragons.

If Fulminorax the blue dragon in Malabog Castle is any example then getting right up under the belly of a dragon makes it very hard for the head OR the tail to hit you.

Maybe it takes a half dragon to point out some obvious things on dragons...... :scratches head with clawtip, then shrugs:

You need a level 60 character and at least two dragon eggs. You then need to go to top of Valindra's tower and sit on them, until they hatch. At that point you can make a new dragon character.

    Good luck

Secret way to obtain a dragon is to make a new character, female human, name her Daenerys, get 3 dragon eggs and take them to the nearest camp fire.

This is why all PvP teams need a cleric now. Divine Sunburst the oppositions dragon and he'll be stunned for the entire game.

nah that was recently fixed :p

. . . When I roll a Dragon Cleric, my breath weapon affects my entire party! So nice to have that, "Level me to 80" button, was worth the 50,000 Zen! I rerolled to a Dragon Druid, green of course.

If you guys think these dragons are OP just wait until we can play as Dracoliches and Shadow Dragons.

Then you will really need to L2P!

It depends on your mindset. I mean, if you tend to lean toward lawful/good then it could be awkward in a canibalism kind of way I s'pose.

. . . I only wear 2/4 pieces just for the +1800 Life Steal and then I wear 2/4 pieces of the Chosen of the Gods set for the x10 HP and AP gain.
