ok if a combat spec hr vs a iv sent who will win ?

ok the combat hr with fox shift/cunning,boar charge/hide and mr/me..with lone wolf class feature and aspect of serpene. at will : rapid shot/strike and split shot/strike..with full grim combatent set and a p.vorp weapon enchant and a p.barkshield armor enchant

2)iv sent gwp with takedown, frontline surge, indomitable battle strike. at will is threat rush and sure strike..class feature is wrapon master strike and tramp the fallen..also with full grim sentinel set and also p.vorp and p.barkshield together..which will win in a 1v1 match?

Its funny you should post this, because just last night on my IV Sent GWF for PVP dailies I ran into an HR that did more damage to me faster than any TR has ever done. Yet, we are still flooded with tears against TR, but I am aware of only "HR ROOTS!!" complaints.

Between the two equally geared classes that you mention, I'll have to let others speculate.

    Tough one...

Slight edge to the GWF. Maybe you can win depending on your ability to bob and weave (you know what I mean). Keep some distance and strike at the right moment. I dunno...

With Marauders? The IV Senti. It's not an immunity frame, in fact during the animation you're very vulnerable, if only hard to see.

Throw another skill into the mix in it's place, and a well played HR, you have a fun fight. Still favors the Senti though.

I think it would depend on the players skill level, that is a great player playing an HR probably beats a great player playing a GWF, but a mediocre IV Sent would easily beat a mediocre HR. IV Sent is ez-mode, HR has a higher skill cap.

Close one, equal skill/gear would come down to dice rolls

While I agree that a mediocre IV Sent would easily beat a mediocre HR, even if a perfectly player HR might be slightly superior to a perfectly played IV Sentinel I think it is really comes down to luck at that level.

Both having Barkskin my money goes to the hr because they simply have more tools in the box and a lot more evasion.

Now make the gwf a hafling with greater elven battle enchantment and i say the sent has the upper hand.

Why would he not be running Stormstep Action?

Makes more since to use stormstep instead of aspect. Lone wolf is fine. Yet Aspect I just do not see why a melee would be dueling a sent with it. Am I missing something? 1 vs 1 against a sent you should be able to out maneuver - burst forest ghost reset burst again before he even knew what hit him. As melee HR can unload a HAMSTER ton of damage CRAZY FAST. They also have high deflect/defense/hp as well.
