Vorpal Enchantment

I am currently at 75% crit severity. I place a lvl 7 (adds 12%) on my weapon but it still shows 75%.

1. Is this just a graphic error (i.e. it works fine just dosn't show in character page).
2. I pressume it will add 12% to equal 87%, or it is 12% of 75% i.e. 9% for a total of 84%.
