I would like to see guilds having guild bases which would be cool also good for PvP for base raiding against other rival guilds. Also building and customizing your base with about anything you like also adding defence also artifacts to the base to make it home also venders, Guild Venders, foundry etc.

If anyone would like to comment or add more ideas to my suggestion just post.

I'm actually surprised they don't have this already. The players usually love it, and upgrades fees can be a good source of revenue for Cryptic (depending on how they implement it). Not to mention it promotes comradery and teamwork in the guild in order to get it to max level and reap all the benefits.

Cryptic should add the suggestion it would really give the guilds reasons to be on guilds.

I would love to see a NWO variation on the Starbases in STO. Keeps, Castle, or just an upgradeable Guild Hall, something that all guild members can contribute to.

Maybe one like the old City of Heroes guild bases? I mean, they were still with NCSoft when the game got guild bases, so its something they've done before.

Guild Castles would require alot of working on and such also for the guild hall too. Good for meeting also good for Guild Dungeons for PvE and PvP also some features for the guild like a guild bounty system for PvP for any non-Guild who killed your members on a PvP match or a PvP zone.

Yes, i think the Guild Home, Guild Castle or Guild Hall (the name don't care) is one of the best implements they can do. I tryed for a lot of time for do that in some "private" servers of WoW but didn't go for good way so i'm a little bit focused on bump that think in all games i play ^^

The GH (like i preffer to name it) is a good idea because, and how the owner of the post tell, they can use it to do Guild PVP events (GH conquest, GCtA and a lot of more PVP events) also, they can put some PVE events for the guilds.

The GH upgrade system is, i think the most difficult part of the implementation, because u need to put Guild Levels in funtion of the GH (I think that's the best) or of the Guild Members Lvl for evade the posibility of farm and other problems with the Top Guilds and the New Guilds (if u didn't do that, the Top Guild will atack the newbie for obius reasons)

Also, the upgrade progress is a little bit difficult to think, that can be (in this game, and in my opinion) with AD or some other tipe of coin, and, for the zen market also they can put some thinks, but, if is only with Zen that can cause a lot of disapointing (I saw that happen)

For a good gameplay, i was thinking a lot (i try that for more of 2 years like a dev) and i conclude the best option is use a "continent" or a island system with bridges or neutral zones for the explorers (PVP!!! and PVE!!!) for another guilds members to discover different GH to battle, trade or something. Also, the Low lvl GH will have a "Invisible Camp of Force" (Sry, i need to call that like this, is awesome the name) for evite the problems with the strength Guilds.

The GH edit system is too easy in that game, we have also the foundry and isn't difficult to edit a little bit (To restring the thinks u can put, only if u bought it.

I have a lot of thinks thinked yet about that, but i don't want to explain that post a lot (more).

Sry for my bad english, im spanish and the spanish system of education is the worst with English language ^^ i hope u can read good.

You mean like dividing maps into territories, and whichever guild owns a particular territory gets specific privileges there?

Something like in Rust, where you can start building a shelter/house/castle anywhere in the land, providing you have gathered enough wood and so on. Then it can be attacked/pillaged by other ppl.
Problem is, not sure where in the NW areas is there enough space to build guild halls. Also, where do you get the wood from? The trees cannot be cut. You can push the barrels in PE but that's not much wood.

I'd also like to see this....but I don't think it'll be added any time soon. It took a good while for Starbases to be added in STO, and there has been no guild/supergroup bases added to CO. I could see a guild hall system being identical to the STO starbase system being added. It seems to work for large guilds. Expect more grinding for resources and then extended wait times for thing to be "built" after the resources are collected. Also there most likely won't be any area/land choices.

I'd much rather see Foundries being opened to larger groups. I'm sure there's some things they could do to prevent exploits.

    So we'll see....

In the late Crown of Power, a MMO alos organized with different areas of different levels and different skins (forest, swamp, desert, and so on) it was possible to create a guild hall anywhere. The maps where bigger though, and full of "emptiness". The NW maps are small, and packed. Not sure in which area I would like to see my guild's castle.
English is not my first language.

Well, no. It would instantly turn all guilds into de facto PVP guilds.

I don't want to be subject to marauding players just by visiting a guild hall.

you don't have too only way to do that if another guild challenges your guild to a PvP

player and guild housing and the suggested account shared banks and pvp on the base would be awesome.

a base with a dummy and a arena where you could test builds and pvp 1vs1 would be awesome too.

    Defiinaly agree

Also adding an AD or Zen Bank system to the guild bank would also be eaiser for all guilds.

OPtional: Should increase the Guild cap from 500 to 1000 if it's possible?

Another suggestion is guild alliance which is something you can ally your guild with another guild by sending them guild ally.

I think creating a Guild based pvp arena, potentially coliseum style.

The addition of an in-guild coliseum would allow players to spectate other guild members and learn from them. Imagine, for example, that a high ranking guild member who's been playing for months wants to teach a total newbie to the game how to fight properly. They go into the arena 1v1 against each other, allowing them to take the time, talk to each other, and show each other different moves, training the way real people did in medieval times - with a sparring partner and mentor. On top of this, it'd allow in-guild competitions for prizes, Team vs team fights in heavily pvp based guilds, and other such pre-defined things. It'd go a long way towards allowing people to customize the sort of pvp experience they want, and do it among friends.

While I support the idea of guild halls, I definitely oppose tying them to PvP.

So basically the way it works in Perfect World International. Which means all guilds either turn into PvP guilds or find themselves disrespected by the ones that do.

It's upto the Guild masters if they want them to make it PvPable or non-PvPable guild.

Easy ways of doing something like this would be to
1: allow more than 5 people to a single foundry. So people can make their own guild bases.
2: Allow the guildmaster to design a guildbase with the foundry editor and then anyone of the guild can enter it.
I don't know how STO bases work though and what is their purpose.
