Fresh 60 HR - Seeking Tips

So I rolled in back to neverwinter after a friend told me a new class had been born. (new to me) I have yet to hit lvl 60 on any character before so I'm sure this is why I may be a little lost.

What I'm seeking is more or less some advice to point me in the right direction to achieve a higher GS. I tried to run a dungeon, no success. Tried to pvp for glory to buy the T1 pvp gear, that was pointless, as every match my team would rage quit and I would get 0 to 200 points.

Would I be going in the right direction by completing shar and dead dailies for the T1 gear? If so, how do I obtain the rest of the T1 that you get as drops from the Dungeons? I can never get a group for these dungeons :/

Any pointers as to where I should start would be great, I feel really lost

I'll help as best I can gear prices are still pretty obscene. First some things that are working to your advantage. Grands and even some ancients are pretty cheap now. You can get good necks and waists cheap, rings a little more but doable. The potencys dropping from the new boxes are dropping the cost of enchants so you will save some AD there as well. Given the glut on rangers and the price on gear I went gonzo on GG. Like twice a day. Go for PVP and FC, the drops aren't as good but it will be easy to find groups and multi-running plus a PVP can get you a decent bit of coin to build a T2 Predator set (depending on how/when they change all of that). Hold on to your Drakes as that is not a bad starter bow and nobody likes running DV. PK on the other hand is the easiest T2 so you can get your blades (and the aforementioned Drakes) by running that. Good luck and godspeed.

yes doing shar and Dread ring are both good to do get blues then rank 5s and random epics.

As they are most economical when you have gotten anything from a run sell for gold or ad on ah salvage or equip it for sake of having it when you have all epics or blues lv 60 gets easier in case you are broke like i constantly am.

Forgot that part. I rocked a phat Thayan chest that dropped with a lesser soul I borrowed from a buddy in it. Big pimpin. Hopefully the ToS speed runs will continue to lower the cost of chests. Had a blue hat that I wore straight through till I finished my T2 set because it had the best point distribution. Oh yeah and slotted blue shirts and pants can provide a decent GS boost as even with enchants they are still cheaper than most of the gear. Epics actually not worth the AD/ GS until you are full set and R6s, maybe 7s with enchant prices dropping. Oh! If you find people you work well with friend list them. The biggest social hack is letting people know you are not the HR that is going to mess up the pull then marauder all over the map like a pinball. I still delve with some of the people I did those endless FC grinds with. Just with more gear and better dungeons. If you want to max Sharandar Boons buy the Fey pack every 6 days because spark is the choke point. Dread is linear and will finish first.

Go for the Gauntlgrym set ASAP, don't waste your time with T2 sets, they're vastly inferior. Also the GG set is much easier to get, and you will just need to keep it untile you can get your real end-game gear, wich is the Dread Legion set.
