Diligence, Vigilance and Tenacity. This is the path to victory.

Tenacity - now there's the subject.
Upcoming PvP Changes: Tenacity and More.
To be honest, at first I was a bit intrigued when saw this. PvP system required some improvement for quite a while. That was not what I was experting, however.
- “Have thay finally made a different pvp mode or perhaps new map?”
- “No sir, all you get is this new stat called "Tenacity."

While I hope it wont broke game for classes that rely on CC, like Wizards and Guardians, this anaunsment really concerns me. Being chain proned can become quiet frustrating, but cutting off CC effects will make pvp less tactical and more straight forward "kill them, before they kill you" kind of fair.

Don`t get me wrong, changes need to be done, but you, developers, would make better job by fixing existing bugs and broken skills, rather than introduce the new ones. NW combat (pvp including), was renown for its tactical options and complexity. While adding two different skill effects for pvp and pve may take more time and efford, this solution is superior in a long run. It Doesn't Take a Genius to figure out that merely castrating skill effects all together by this new "pvp" stat is poor design choice. Seem like all it capable of doing is just creating eaven bigger gap between pvp players, which will result in more one sided matches, more afk players/whole teams and more frustration and ignorance around community.

While my words may seem somewhat harsh, original intention was not to mock dev team or make another trolling thread, but to declare my own opinion and let other to manifest theirs. Direct and argumented feedback is what benefits both players and developers after all.

I was against it too reading about it a long time. After playing it on the PTR, all the proposed changes work well and help with balancing. Also, just because they didn't mention it doesn't mean something like new maps are not coming with the next update. Think about how much testing a new map would need to go through to be implemented rather than adding new stats with multiple effects, 3 new gear sets, new pvp gears, ect.

Either way I would think if its going to be a module update, perhaps matchmaking, modes, + maps are still in the works, but not announced. Who knows. The main key is PvP is getting a lot of attention with this and the changes they are making are great and will be beneficial to PvP. Matchmaking was highly looked at and I believe will still be implemented, which will also be a fantastic update to PvP.

Unless there's a new map or SERIES of maps, no change will matter. People are just plain bored of the same damned thing...

But how does it effect cc skills? Does it make tham weaker? Will that new stat encourage everyone to use only certain skills that max out dps, crippling build variety and turning pvp into race for numbers ?
    That's the real question.

Pvp required updates for a long time. Good enough, if they will be finally implemented.
