When it says "available in the ........ Campaing"?

There are 2 items that I am missing to complete some of my collections and when I hover over the "weapons/gear" in the Ctrl-J Tab, all it says: "available in the Sharadar Campaign" or the "Dread Ring Campaign".

What exactly does that mean?

Is it a random drop in the entire zone minus the 3 dungeons, is it a dungeon only drop, or is it something I need to purchase from somewhere as I don't see them anywhere on a vendor or what?

I just don't want to waste my time grinding certain areas if the item(s) won't drop that particular place..

    It means it comes from tasks in the campaign system.

    And that means what exactly? Sorry I am only trying to understand how to get what I am missing. By tasks, do you mean rewards form the Daily quests or what?

    Still confused.

    ON second thought, are these rewards form doing some of the "boon step by step incentives" not sure what else to call them (where you hit the flag icon top of the screen)? As I have done them all in Sharadar got the only 2 pieces available, so not sure where they can be.

    What items are you missing ? If you tell us we can go look and maybe tell you where you get them.

    Tasks are the things you do in the actual campaign system.

    In particular, Assist Artisans for Sharandar and Recover Thayan Gear for Dread Ring

    Actually there are 3 in each Campaign. Thought there were only 2.

    Dread Ring Campaign:

    Ring of the Dread Legion
    Cloak of the Dread Legion and
    Belt of the Dread Legion


    Sharandar Campaign:

    Ring of Sideyuir
    Cloak of Sideyuir and
    Belt of Sideyuir

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks that is what I though but in the Sharandar Campaign I already have the only 2 items from the Task Chest, and they are not in there.

    Those are from the dungeon and are listed as such in the collection system.

    Edit: Sorry, just the sharandar ones. The Dread Ring ones are from the campaign system.

    Thanks it still does not leave me with a clue where I can hope to get them then? If they are in the regular dungeons then I can try my luck with the RNG, if they are in the 5 man one, then I guess I am out as finding a group that does not break up before then end or that votes you out just before the chest, I would rather pass then face that over and over again.

    Dread Ring Campaigns? still at the beginning of my question, the 5Ws is the question that I need specifics on.

    I thank you anyways my Friend, guess I will just have to wait and hope?

    Dungeon = 5 man.

    I believe the proper term for the solo instances are lairs.

    Further more, they come out of the dungeon delving chest so it needs to be during DD time.

    Campaign is campaign. Not the area where you can play. Campaign task can reward you with chest, that contain purple items. These items are the one that are mentioned in the collectors side as 'Campaign x' items. Look at all task and then you will find ones which you let craft that chest with purple reward.

    Alright, well now I know how to get them.


    Now to find a 5 man Pug that does not vote you out just before you claim the reward......................But that is another issue on itself.

    And ladysylvia, the Sharandar Task Chest does not give you any of those items, I got both out of the chests already. Only 2 can be found in them.

    Haven't done the Dread Ring one yet. Will check that one out in a few days when I have it unlocked.

    The big marked are clear defined in my client as rewards from Malabog Castle Dungeon not from the Sharandar Campaign. While the other are correct stated as chestrewards from Dread Ring Campaign.

    Sorry to say then we do NOT have the same screen.

    Check Assist Artisans in the Sharandar Campaign:

    Ancestral Cloak
    Ancestral Ring

    Assist Thayan Artisans in the Dead Ring Campaign says:

    Ring of the Regent
    Belt of the Regent and
    Cloak of the Regent

    The other items even though grouped with either Malabog's Castle or Valindra's Tower says "you can find this in Sharandar Campaign or Dread Ring Campaign".

    I wonder if every class see different items on the ctrl-J screen. Maybe that is where the difference lies? Have no idea I only have one toon Level 60 the other is only level 33, never looked on his tabs yet.

    All I want is to know where to get those items, it appears to be much more complicated than I though, but it appears the only solution is to do either the Castle and the Tower and hope and pray that the Pug does not Vote Kick me or any others out just before the chest rewards.

    Also, all of the items have already been explained where you can get them. Which ones are you still unclear on?

    I can't for the love of me figure out the screen shot thing. I tried but it post the pic without the UI or the windows I have open.

    Regardless, I am pretty clear that they are only available via the 2 Main Dungeons which are not soloable (I think). I tried them each twice, once 2 groupies bailed off early so we quit and the other 3 times I get vote-kicked just before the chest rewards even though I had been assured they would not do that when I asked as we traveled along. Now whenever I see 3 or more toons from the same Guild I bail out before we venture as that is how it happened before, I guess 3 guildies sharing the loot amongst themselves and all voting in favour of each other. So I am careful now. Eventually may get lucky with a group that is happy to share. And wtf is this vote-kick thing all about anyways and why is it allowed just before you loot the final boss's chest???

    I guess the confusion is the campaign set is named "regent", and not the "dread legion" set. I do not know what the "regent" set is as it is not listed in the collection and dread ring zone rewards system. And like the OP, still do not know where to get the "dread legion" ring/cloak/belt.

    Glad to know that I am NOT the only one. Still can't figure out where they drop as a friend of mine said that he has never seen them drop in the Main 5 man Dungeon of that Zone.

    So in other words, we still don't have a direct answer to my question even though many peeps gave some insight.

    Yeah if I had to guess then maybe the items in the drop list from the Dread legion artisan pack are labeled incorrectly , have you tried to open one yet? I still have a day or two before I can make one -

    You think the artisan pack in Dread Ring gives T2 gear? The one in Sharandar only gives T1 gear...

    I just completed the Recover Thayan Gear task and can confirm it does drop Cloak of the Dread Legion. I'm guessing they changed the item names at some point in development and forgot to update the pack's description.
