Give her an enchant-debuff-spell, a Portal power to summon lesser hellish creatures, and no damage at all.
Give her a skin that randomly alternates (with proper visual effects) between her demonic appearance and the appearance of a human-like beautiful, classy looking lady, giving her the look and fell of a surreal mirage. Am I getting too demanding?

Roo. Cleric. Mad as a bag of badgers, will heal for beer.

doesn't the Aranea already shift appearance like that? If so, I don't see a reason why a Succubus wouldn't be able to.
It sounds good, except the fact that we're heroes getting a demonic companion especially because we are fighting demons. Other than that it's a great idea.
Then again, it might work out because we would have a contract with the demon you could make it look like the winged demoness (or whatever the name is) from helms hold/mad dragon.

AFAIK, all demons need not be evil - it just happens that most entities from that plane are. I'm certain they could either play it off that this particular succubus is "good" in some way, or really play up the reluctant hero angle and make her vocal about not liking having to serve some goody-goody hero type...

I am reminded of Fall-from-Grace from Planescape: Torment. The best word describing her would be "chaste". (Voiced by Jennifer Hale, who also did the female Commander Shepard from the Mass Effect series.)
I'd like to point out that, with the right rituals, imps, succubi, and any manner of devil are summonable, and controllable. let me ask you - if you have to go into a fight with a summoned creature, why take an angel? they're fighting anyways, and if they're fighting for you, there's a good chance they'll die! So, instead, throw a fiend at a fiend. No matter who loses, the side of good wins.

On this subject, why would you want to fight with an angel on your side. They're lawful good or lawful stupid as I think of it. That means they're going to obey rules of how to fight, have a code of honor, etc. If I have to fight a group, I want the ally that has no issues poisoning the enemies well, strangling them in their sleep, and sealing a building before lighting it on fire. Lawful allies want a fair fight, and fair fights are too easy to lose.

Sorry just a little ramble.
"Lawful" can mean a lot of things, but this is basically rehashing the old 'Paladin code of Honor Sucks' argument. An angel is a lawman, it's true, and they're good people, but given the whole Immortal Outsider thing they've got going on they've been doing this a lot longer than us, long enough to realize that sometimes you're going to have to resort to unsavory methods to deal with a subject in the name of the greater good. It's why a lot of cops burn out - being forced to do something for the greater good.
Further, Angels are individuals. Their individual views of what law mean are different; even paladins, as enclosed as they are by strictures and a code of honor, have different views on what it means to be lawful and good. Are you a zealous crusader? A warrior who fights against corrupted laws? Seriously, there's a lot of ways to address, and an angel hasn't actually taken the same oaths as a paladin even, meaning if he truly wanted to he could poison a team of evil individuals and wait for them to die rather fight them head on like a paladin might.
I believe the old phrase "Alignment is not a straitjacket" is applicable here. What you presented was a very narrow view of what Lawful Good can mean. I recommend taking a look at the old 3.5 book "Complete Scoundrel" for more thoughts in regards to freedom in alignment, as it's rather quite enlightening, and can be found in several places online as a free pdf.
