Help with R8 enchantment:

I'm looking to upgrade my enchantments from R6 to R8, but not quite sure what's the best way to go about doing this. This is what I'm planning to do, I'd appreciate some feed-back:

-Buy 2(R7) off the ah, price range of 115K each
-buy wards, not sure how many
- Superior mark, 100k each
-R5, @1600 each for points.

I ended up with costs of 400-450K depending on which enchantment, about the same as what people are selling them on the ah for. I wanted to start out with R5 and work up from there, but it seems cheaper to buy the R7 off the ah as my calculations for starting out with R5 ended up more than the 115K or so for the R7.

What am I doing wrong? How is it that people can make R6 cheaper than the cost of the 25K marks alone? If you have cost effective details of how to upgrade R6 to R8 and share them I'd much appreciate it.

Most of the cheap enchantments have been fused before the refinement patch.

you are not doing anything wrong. There has been a lot of discussion and the general conclusion was that r5-r7 was expensive, while r8-r10 was cheaper then before.
    Foundry - Fight Club? (nw-dluqbofu7)
    - JailBreak (in development)

    /agree

We've been swindled.....looked all set to be a better system but actually isn't that much better for the mid ranks.

It is however a 'TONNE cheaper for R8 and above because you no longer need 4 of them to fuse, but a poultry 2. (ignoring the stinking marks that is....) :P

    Swings and Roundabouts......
IF you can buy a R8 for cost, buy it and slot it, then upgrade that. Getting to R9 is better this way than before.
