As a female player I love the armor that shows off some skin and I was wondering why the Disable Visuals have not been applied to Shirts and Pants?
My lvl 60 GWF got the Chest armor "Scale of the Thayan Zealot" it looks really awesome on my Half-Orc Female but the Chain Shirt and Trousers really take away from the awesome art work of this armor item.
The Shirt and Pants really takes away the look of the armor and Fashion Sets.
If there a plan in the near future to enable the disable visuals on Shirts and Pants?
a Couple of ideas
Redo the art work of pants and shirts, so when a female put it on it looks like a Sports Bra and shorts and on a male toon it would look like a shirt and pants look to them.
Same Item, just looks different on male/female genders.
or
Make new craftable items for females Shirt and Pants slot that look like sports Bra and shorts.
they could also add transmute for shirt and pants, since ppl tastes differ, its nice that female characters dont go to battle dressed in what could only be described as steel bikini
but adding an option to disable visuals would be great, though it has been asked for ages but they are too busy making lockboxes
At this stage it's well down their "We'll look at it" list ... All you can do is decide if the minor stat boost that pants or shirts give you is worth sacrificing and simply remove them.

It's more than a minor boost when you consider the slots you lose by removing those items.
Anyway, it will be a happy day when they finally get around to allowing us to disable visuals on shirts and pants. There are a number of otherwise excellent armor designs in the game that look pretty awful with underwear showing through.
Impractical armor is a high fantasy staple; we want our option for chainmail bikinis and armored muscle shirts :P
'Twould be nice, indeed. I mean, the option's there in the tooltip anyway...
Although I wouldn't want it on the top layers - the main armor slots, that is. Down that road only pain and madness (and streakers) lie...
Have been to PE lately??? It's like an LA street at 1PM on a Friday night! ..Ewww ... But seriously, I don't know why the devs don't spend a littel more time and effort on the "Cosmetic" aspects of NW, for sure, we all love new content, but sometimes just a few little things in the current content would make a lot of players VERY happy.
For instance disabling pants/shirt or a 128 colour palette for armors/clothes instead of the Dye kits? Add a "Spectromatic Wizard" to the HoA in PE, and a token from the Z-Store allows you to customise your armor/clothes.
