Emails from non PW company

Received an Email either yesterday or today and at first as a previous post said it looked like a legit message talking about a new server with 50% cheaper Zen prices.

the site name is <removed email> Once I started reading the message i realized it was not a perfectworld mesage and put it to my blocked list.

This goes hand in hand with a previous post about emails so I am wondering if PW has an issue and needs to address it.

If a moderator feels like closing this one as the previous one i think that moderator needs to get his head examined for being an idiot and not allowing the game community to have pertinent information or would that moderator like to be responsible for the game developers having issues because customers start having their accounts "hacked" and those customers blaming the game developers.

but I guess that certain moderator does not have a proper concept of stopping a fire before it becomes an issue he just wants to cite rote and add in his personal opinion.

I am going to double check but I may have used an ultimate card on this account.

If that is a possible issue i will post it.

Your not allowed to post about this on the forums , not being nasty or whatever but that is what I was told earlier , a couple of threads have already been deleted or closed about this , its probably a phishing attempt , just report it to support and ignore it , they do however need to figure out how an outside party has gained access to players emails .

I used two ultimate cards on this account. I'll go through all accounts later and check the newest ones to see if they received the message to their emails.

I noticed when I used ultimate game cards that I would receive added spam but it was harmless this was the first phishing attempt I'm wondering if this phishing attempt as well happened to FW/STo people or just NWO.

As to them controlling this information...why? why not keep your people informed so they can avoid any possible chance of mistakes.
